Karim Jerbi 248c9aec7b fix(plotstyle): validate and stage table edits
Validate plot-style color, lineweight, and screening fields atomically and report invalid input without changing the table. Keep successful Save and Save As edits as the close baseline; discard edits made after that baseline when the panel closes. CTB files are app-level state, so these changes do not dirty the drawing or create drawing undo entries.

test: invalid screening retains prior value and reports error

test: invalid color retains prior value and reports error

test: invalid lineweight retains prior value and reports error

test: closing panel discards unsaved edits

test: closing panel keeps values from saved baseline

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 f07d6e19fc Save: don't wait forever for the thumbnail frame or screenshot
A save from the active drawing first redraws the viewport without its
overlays and screenshots it for the file's preview. When the compositor
delivered no frame or never answered the screenshot (an occluded or
throttled Wayland window), the save never started: the input layer stayed
hidden, so the window ignored the mouse and keyboard, and automation
requests waited on the save forever. A timer now stands in for the frame,
and the screenshot races a half-second timeout; whichever answers first
runs the save, without the refreshed preview if it has to.

Closes #1801

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 6fdff6c515 DGNIMPORT: reference naming, cells, text placement, curves, references
Name clashes, DGNIMPORTMODE and prefixing as the reference names them;
V7 cell copies, unshared cells and mirrored placements as blocks;
justified text and text nodes placed at their justification points with
the reference's MTEXT contents; B-spline curves as splines and 3D arcs and
ellipses in their own planes; every V8 level as a layer; design models
only; reference attachments translated, ignored or attached as underlays.
The colour index palette comes from the codec fix it depends on.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 04b2c07a38 Use the codec audit and repair in place of OCS's corruption guard
Opening a drawing no longer drops entities with its own sanity checks or
rewrites knotless splines; recovery runs the codec's repair and records
its actions and unresolved issues in the drawing's notifications. Xref
merges keep every entity. The dropped-entity counts, their command-line
warnings, recovery report rows and the automation "purged" field go with
the guard.

AUDIT now reports the codec's audit (counts plus the first 50 issues) and
asks whether to fix; Yes applies the codec repair as one undo step.

Cargo: codec 325fa98, kernel dfca391, graph 5d4e713.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 9a567d4f44 fix(linetype): an opened drawing keeps exactly its own linetypes (#1826)
Opening a drawing added all 50 catalog linetypes to it, so PURGE found
and removed them again after every save and reopen. Opening now only
repairs the catalog linetypes a drawing already has. The linetype
pickers (layers, properties, ribbon, attribute editor, layer states)
offer the missing catalog ones after the drawing's own, and the one
picked, or named in LINETYPE SET, is loaded on first use.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 38d81bf838 feat(selection): highlight opacity and extra width (#1823)
Options > Selection gains "Selection highlight opacity" and "Selection
highlight extra width". Below full opacity the object's own colour
shows through the highlight. The selection overlay draws with its own
copy of the frame uniforms: transparency on, and every line widened by
the extra width. Drawings opened at startup now get the selection
colour settings too; they used to keep the defaults until a setting
changed.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 de1e49a4c5 feat(plot): PDF output carries drawing layers
Every plotted wire and hatch resolves to its entity's layer, and the PDF
wraps each run of same-layer items in an optional-content group, so a
viewer's layer panel lists the drawing's layers and can hide them. Draw
order is unchanged; images stay outside any group. Expanded block
geometry goes with its INSERT's layer.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 cccea4008b ucs: dynamic UCS on planar solid faces
With dynamic UCS on (UCSDETECT 1, toggled with F6), a command's first
point picked on a planar face of a solid sets the UCS to that face for
the rest of the command, so 2D commands draw on the face (#1711). An
unsnapped first point lands on the face itself; a snapped point off the
face's plane belongs to other geometry and leaves the UCS alone. The
previous UCS comes back when the command ends. UCS commands themselves
are left out.

Sebastian 2cdc1df021 feat(app): dispatch HostNotifications to native plugins (API v9)
Close the no-load-callback gap: on_notification was a dead dispatch sink —
a plugin had no way to learn that the active document changed, the selection
changed, or that a document opened, so runtime designations could not be
re-seeded after a load.

Dispatch the existing plain variants at the fingerprint-guarded boundaries
the v4 bridge already uses: DocumentChanged (the active tab's settled
geometry epoch) and SelectionChanged (the selection set) leave through
BuiltinPlugin::on_notification at the post-message boundary — after the
mutation settles and pending history scopes closed, never mid-undo or
mid-pick — and at the automation post-op boundary. Plugin-initiated writes
publish immediately after settling, like the drawing-changed event; the
boundary fingerprint guard deduplicates.

Add the additive HostNotification::DocumentOpened { tab_id } variant
(discriminant 10, the counterpart of DocumentTabClosed): fired exactly once
per whole-document install — file open, template new, system open — keyed on
a new per-tab document generation, so an edit can never repeat it and a
reload fires it once. The API version stays v9 (the bump is unreleased).

Write semantics for handlers, tested and documented: a handler may call
HostApi write methods through the same session (set_reference_only at
minimum); its write bumps the epoch, the next boundary notifies once more,
and because re-marking already-designated geometry is a documented no-op —
no epoch bump, no undo step, no publish — the loop terminates. History
(undo/redo) replay itself emits nothing; the boundary is the only channel.
No Python mapping, like the rest of this increment.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 92a3a8ee4d REFEDIT: Edit Reference dialog and unique names for xref objects
REFEDIT opens a dialog after the pick: the nesting chain as chips with a
preview of the chosen definition, all objects or picking them in the
drawing, attribute definitions (offered only when the definition has
them), locking objects outside the working set and unique names for an
external reference's named objects. The settings are remembered.

With unique names an xref's dependent layers, linetypes, text styles and
blocks are checked out as $N$NAME records of their own; without, under
the plain name, sharing a host record of that name. Save writes them back
under the reference's names, and the records made for the session are
removed when it closes. -REFEDIT uses the remembered settings.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 5d0390bcdf fix(annotative): start new drawings at the unit-aware annotation scale
A new drawing is metric with metre insertion units, but its annotation
multiplier stayed at Scene::new()'s unitless 1 while opened files and
CANNOSCALE convert paper millimetres into drawing units (0.001 at 1:1).
Annotative text and dimensions were drawn 1000x too large until the
first scale change, then shrank to their real size and looked gone,
also after switching back to 1:1.

One helper now derives the multiplier from the header; new drawings,
file open and every INSUNITS change (UNITS, the units popup, DWGUNITS,
SETVAR) go through it.

Afonsop 1c0963b68d fix: close the adversarial findings on the save/paste wave
Ported from da950460 (#1717).

In-place save:
- A stale retained handle could receive bytes serialized for a
DIFFERENT format (Save As .dwg->.dxf whose re-pick failed wrote DXF
bytes through the .dwg handle) or silently save in place while the
user was told a copy was downloading. The serialized format now
travels to completion (tab-keyed pending map), the write requires a
matching handle extension AND a live tab, and a failed re-pick
drops the old handle before the download fallback.
- Discarding an unsaved tab leaked its handle, and a serialization
still in flight could then overwrite the real file the user just
declined to save. Discard drops the handle; a tab-gone completion
  downloads instead of writing.
- Overlapping saves had no guard: a wasm in-flight slot refuses a
second save with the same localized message, cleared on every exit
  path.

Paste: pasted_image_name built its timestamp from Date::new(0) — a
CONSTANT name, so every paste overwrote every earlier paste's image.
Real clock, milliseconds, and a collision-suffixed unique name now.

Capture: a web capture in a hidden tab, or one with nothing redrawing,
could hold the automation slot forever. It fails fast when the page is
hidden and gives up after 5 s, on main's frame-parked capture.

The XREF manager reports registry-loaded xrefs with their size on the
web instead of NotFound.

Left out: the always-warm print snapshot (a frames subscription that
emits a message on every frame keeps the app redrawing at the display
rate), so the browser-menu print wiring from the previous commit goes
too — its beforeprint readback printed blank pages on WebGL2. The
merge-residue hunks (re-added XREF bind tests, snap endpoint map and

Afonsop 835e8d469f feat: in-place save (File System Access), image paste, print wiring, web capture
The last high-severity web gap plus a small integration bundle.

In-place save: with the File System Access API (Chromium/Edge), Save
now works like desktop. Plain Save on a tab with a retained handle
writes straight through — no picker, no download, no "(1)" copies.
First save or format change opens showSaveFilePicker AT the confirm
gesture (the worker serialization that follows can outlast the
transient-activation window; retained handles need no activation to
write). Picker cancel cancels the save like desktop; picker or write
failure falls back to the legacy download with a note; Firefox/Safari
keep the download flow untouched (feature-detected). Handles are
keyed by tab id in a thread-local registry (Message must be Send —
JsValue cannot ride in messages or App state); closing a tab drops
its handle; Save As re-picks. Dirty clears only on successful
persistence, same race guard as before.

Image paste: Ctrl+V of a screenshot inserts it as an image reference
— the clipboard reader falls back to image/* items when neither the
entity clipboard nor text has anything (precedence preserved), the
bytes enter the image source registry as pasted-<timestamp>.<ext>,
and attach reuses the IMAGE command's model-creation path verbatim.

Browser print: beforeprint snapshots the WebGL canvas into a print-
only <img> (the capture_canvas technique), so the browser's own print
menu produces the drawing instead of a blank page.

Automation capture on web: the capture op no longer calls the
synchronous GPU-map screenshot (dead on wasm); main's frame-parked
capture waits for a presented frame and reads via capture_canvas — the
same workaround the save-thumbnail path uses — delivering the PNG as a
download.

Ported onto main (#1717 review): the web capture rides main's existing
frame-parked capture (one ControlCaptureFrame path, ignoring the timer
tick on wasm) instead of a second parked-capture state; closing a tab
drops its file handle inside main's on_tab_close.

Afonsop 0459f20129 fix: close the review findings on the restore-all/deep-links/PWA wave
Two reviewers, no blockers, two majors — all fixed.

- The remembered-tab focus after a Restore-all batch fired at the
message boundary, but the LAST restore's tab inserts one async round
later (its OPFS recent-cache write precedes the insertion) and the
insertion's own activation overwrote the selection. The focus flag
now also consumes at the insertion point, so the batch focus holds
  in the common all-success case.
- The service worker cached ANY successful in-scope navigation under
the shell key — a direct navigation to a font or JSON would be
served as the app shell for every offline navigation until the next
online visit. Only the scope root caches as the shell now.

Also: '/app/' gets its own web app manifest (the previous commit's
'installable' claim was true only of the marketing site, whose
start_url sits OUTSIDE the service worker's scope — an installed app
opened offline showed an error page). Its icon is the
existing assets/logo.svg, copied next to the page.

Ported onto main (#1717 review): the build-web.sh and README hunks stay
out with the wrapper.
