Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 a156a63edd Properties: open a dropdown only on the surface that asked (#1766)
The docked panel and Quick Properties render the same rows from one
state, so a picked colour opened both dropdowns and each swallowed the
other's click.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 86429bf439 Ribbon key tips: Alt shows codes on tabs, buttons and menu items
A lone Alt shows a code on every ribbon tab and quick-access button.
Typing a tab code opens the tab and shows the codes of its buttons,
dropdowns, slide-outs and collapsed panels; a button code runs it, a
dropdown or slide-out code opens it and shows its item codes, Esc goes
back one level. Codes follow the reference ribbon; buttons without a
reference counterpart get none and unnamed menu items are numbered.

Codes are drawn as accent pills over the widgets that reported their
bounds in the current frame, with a hint bar under the ribbon. While
the tips are open keys go to them only. The automation gets a keytips
action and read operation.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 92a3a8ee4d REFEDIT: Edit Reference dialog and unique names for xref objects
REFEDIT opens a dialog after the pick: the nesting chain as chips with a
preview of the chosen definition, all objects or picking them in the
drawing, attribute definitions (offered only when the definition has
them), locking objects outside the working set and unique names for an
external reference's named objects. The settings are remembered.

With unique names an xref's dependent layers, linetypes, text styles and
blocks are checked out as $N$NAME records of their own; without, under
the plain name, sharing a host record of that name. Save writes them back
under the reference's names, and the records made for the session are
removed when it closes. -REFEDIT uses the remembered settings.

IMAGEADJUST (alias IAD) takes the selected raster images or asks
"Select image(s):", then opens a dialog with a before/after preview of
the first image and brightness, contrast and fade rows (bar plus
stepper, whole numbers 0-100). Apply writes the values to every chosen
image as one undo step; restore defaults sets 50/50/0. Adds the
image_adjust automation action and the image-adjust locale group.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 780b54489e feat(input): touch screen gestures on the drawing
One finger already worked as the mouse. Two or more fingers now make a
gesture instead of fighting over the cursor: two drag to pan and pinch to
zoom about the fingers, three drag to orbit; a quick two-finger tap opens
the context menu, a three-finger tap zooms to the extents and a quick
three-finger swipe up shows the isometric view. While a gesture runs the
drawing area's own pointer handling keeps out, and the press the first
finger started is dropped.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 fcf1cedf52 feat(select): Ctrl+click picks one segment of a polyline
Ctrl+click on a polyline selects the segment under the cursor (again to
drop it); several segments can be picked. Only the picked segments are
highlighted, and MOVE, ROTATE, SCALE and MIRROR then change just their
vertices, so the neighbouring segments stretch to follow. Any other
selected objects are transformed whole as before.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 11f68a1185 feat(clipboard): paste images from other programs on desktop too
A paste that finds no text now reads an image off the system clipboard
on desktop as well as on the web. The pixels are written as a PNG beside
the drawing (or in the config folder for a drawing never saved) and
placed as a raster image at the cursor, the same way the web paste
attaches a screenshot. PASTESPEC falls back to the same image paste when
the clipboard holds neither objects nor text.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 2bf77e4bd6 feat(array): edit associative arrays through their standard records
An associative array is an AcDbAssocAction with an
AcDbAssocArrayActionBody, dependencies on the array INSERT, the block
holding the item references and the block holding the source objects,
and value parameters (Items, ItemSpacing, Rows, …). Selecting the array
INSERT now shows its counts and spacings in Properties; changing one
places the items again and rewrites the item references, the body's
item records and the parameter values together, in one undo step, so
the drawing stays associative when saved.

Rectangular arrays follow their RowProfile axis, AxesAngle and base
normal; polar arrays turn about the centre recovered from their first
item, Radius and StartAngle. Both match the stored items of the
associative arrays in the sample drawings (122 of 123 rectangular, all
polar items of the polar samples). Path arrays are shown read-only.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 a0a83ad681 ADJUST: images and underlays, -IMAGEADJUST and PDF/DWF/DGNADJUST
ADJUST gathers raster images or PDF/DWF/DGN underlays (other objects are
dropped silently, pickfirst is used, a mixed set is refused), then asks the
image option (Brightness default) or the underlay option (last used), with
value prompts that offer the image's own value or the session's last
underlay fade/contrast, and Monochrome Yes/No. Invalid values re-prompt.
One undo step. -IMAGEADJUST, PDFADJUST, DWFADJUST and DGNADJUST take one
kind each. Raster image Brightness/Contrast/Fade move to an Image Adjust
section as whole numbers with 0-100 validation.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 57eb7fe4db feat(layout): MVSETUP sets a drawing up for plotting
In model space MVSETUP draws the sheet border at the drawing scale
(scale factor, paper width and height) and zooms to it, or switches to
a layout. On a layout it creates viewports in a bounding area (a single
one, a 2x2 engineering set of top/front/right/isometric views, or an
array with spacing), deletes picked objects, and scales picked
viewports to a paper/model unit ratio.

A viewport's fit to the model now measures the model along the
viewport's own view direction, so side and isometric views frame it
too.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 6490a625f2 feat(hatch): add and remove boundary vertices from the grip menu
A non-associative hatch's boundary vertex grips now offer Add Vertex and
Remove Vertex next to Stretch, on polyline boundaries and on boundaries
made of line edges alike. Add Vertex inserts the vertex after the picked
one, halfway along the next segment (on the arc for a bulged polyline
segment, splitting its bulge), and lets it be placed like any grip.
Remove Vertex drops it while keeping at least a triangle.

Line-edge boundaries used to show two grips at every corner (one line's
end, the next one's start), so dragging one opened the loop; each corner
is now one grip that moves both ends.

The automation grip_menu_pick action chooses an entry of the open grip
menu, so these edits can be scripted and checked.

Typing <angle at a point prompt (e.g. <30) now fixes the direction of

direction and turned into the current UCS. Works from the command line

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 9cc890c911 fix(grips): drag model grips in the drawing plane, not onto themselves
In a tilted 3D view a grip followed the cursor onto the screen plane
through the orbit target, so a circle or arc jumped to another radius and
a polyline vertex left its plane. A model-space grip now moves in the UCS
XY plane at its own elevation (the screen plane only when seen edge-on).
A solid stays drawn while its grip moves, and its own edges were still
snap candidates: a cone's base radius landed on its own side. The edited
entities are left out of the grip's snap set.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 c55dbb886e Layouts: first opening follows the page setup; viewports picked by their frame
- A layout opens for the first time when its page setup was never

LAYOUTCREATEVIEWPORT it gets its first viewport. A layout never opened

its viewport when the file is opened again, here or in the reference.
- Select Viewport for view: a viewport is selected when the pick box

inside or outside selects nothing and the prompt repeats.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 5d0390bcdf fix(annotative): start new drawings at the unit-aware annotation scale
A new drawing is metric with metre insertion units, but its annotation
multiplier stayed at Scene::new()'s unitless 1 while opened files and
CANNOSCALE convert paper millimetres into drawing units (0.001 at 1:1).
Annotative text and dimensions were drawn 1000x too large until the

One helper now derives the multiplier from the header; new drawings,
file open and every INSUNITS change (UNITS, the units popup, DWGUNITS,

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 064da8829e View backgrounds: image colours as stored, viewport style name, adjust automation
- The background image texture is not an sRGB view: the image is drawn with
its own colours, as the solid and gradient colours are.
- An entered paper-space viewport shows its named visual style (Realistic,
...) in the render-mode picker, and a mode picked there is recorded as the
  viewport's visual style.
- The view_background automation action takes offset=x,y and scale=x,y.
