DIMLINEAR chose its measurement axis from the two extension line origins
alone, taking the longer of their x and y differences. Every line tilted
less than 45° therefore came out horizontal and stayed horizontal, no
matter where the dimension line was dragged.
The third pick is what answers the question. A linear dimension reports
the run or the rise; pulling the dimension line clear of the points above
or below asks for the horizontal distance, pulling it out to the side
asks for the vertical one.
"Clear of the points" is measured against their extent, not their
midpoint. A dimension line dragged straight up from near one end of a
long pair is still above them even though it is a long way from the
middle, and a midpoint test would call that sideways. When the location
is inside the pair on both axes it has not said anything yet, so the
longer side still decides.
Nothing else needed changing: the measurement already projects onto the
rotation axis, and the block builder already derives the dimension line
and both extension lines from it.

The readout learned to write lengths as 5'-6 1/2" and angles as
N 45d0'0" E, but typed input was still a bare parse::<f64>() — a
coordinate could be displayed and not entered. Give the formatters
their inverses.
parse_length takes feet and inches separated by a dash, a space, or
nothing, with the closing quote optional, and whole-plus-fraction in
any of those forms: 5', 60", 5'-9", 5'9-1/2, 9-1/2, 1/2. A leading
minus is a sign; the one inside 5'-9" is a separator, since after feet
there is nothing left to subtract from.
parse_angle reads the mark that says which convention an angle is in —
g for grads, r for radians, d/'/" for degrees-minutes-seconds, compass
letters for a surveyor's bearing — and reads a bare number in whichever
convention the drawing is set to.
ANGBASE and ANGDIR now apply, but only where they mean something. Which
way a thing points is measured from the drawing's zero and runs the way
it says; how wide an arc opens is the same number whatever zero is
counted from. format_direction and parse_direction are the pair for
directions, and the polar readout and polar input both go through them,
so the bearing shown is the bearing accepted. format_angle stays for
sizes, where applying a base angle would corrupt the value.
The command prompts follow the same rule, each classified rather than
swept: OFFSET distance, FILLET radius, CHAMFER distances, ARRAY and
MINSERT spacing, TRACE width, HELIX, and EXTRUDE height read lengths;
the four dimension text-rotation prompts, ARRAY's total angle and
INSERT's rotation read angles. MLINE's scale and INSERT's scale factor
are left alone — a multiplier has no unit to be written in. INSERT read
both through one parse; they are now separate.
The typed variants also take a decimal comma, which a single-value
prompt has no other use for. parse_length itself does not: inside a
coordinate the comma separates the axes.

Xref merge now inserts entities in the source block's chain order and
carries SortEntitiesTable objects across (remapped to merged handles).
draw_depth_map values become [depth, half] so exploded block/xref fills
and wide-polyline band wires both compose child depth as
insert_depth + in-block rank x half, recursing into nested inserts with
the same divisor - bands and fills from one block interleave by the
block's internal order instead of stacking at the insert's single depth.
Band batches split per rank via WireModel.depth_override; thin wires
stay merged. The wire arena falls back to a full rebuild when a slab
carries mixed depths so refreshes don't flatten band overrides.

A wide polyline with per-vertex varying widths rendered at its widest edge
(uniform-width ones were already exact). Draw the true taper instead.
`WireModel.taper_widths` carries a per-point full band width. The wire
instance (native slim + web fat) gains per-endpoint `world_hw_a/b`, and both
wire shaders interpolate `mix(hw_a, hw_b, which_end)` so each segment's band
narrows/widens linearly — depth-tested, and the linetype dash still applies.
Alignment (widths must match the tessellated points) is solved by building
both together: a new `TruckObject::TaperedLines(points, widths)`, filled by
`common::tapered_band_points` (straight = endpoints, arc = 16 samples with the
width lerped along it). to_truck routes a varying-width polyline here —
LwPolyline before the PLINEGEN split, Polyline2D at its return — while a
uniform-width one keeps the constant-band Contour path unchanged. `world_width`
stays the widest edge as the PDF-stroke + zoom-floor fallback.
Blocks fall back to the constant-widest band (`LocalWire` carries no
taper_widths).

A wide polyline's flat band was drawn by the hatch pipeline: a solid fill
with only draw-order depth. It ignored the entity linetype (the width
"crushed" the dash pattern) and showed through 3-D geometry in a tilted view.
Draw the band from the polyline's own centre-line wire instead. A new
`WireModel.world_width` (drawing units) makes the wire vertex shader expand
the quad by `world_half_width / world_per_pixel` (clamped to a hairline), so
the band is sized in world units and tracks zoom. Because it is now a wire:
- the GPU dash shader dashes the band by arc-length — the linetype applies;
- it is depth-tested at the polyline elevation — no draw-order see-through;
- no CPU band triangles or per-dash geometry are generated.
`world_half_width` rides in `WireConst` (native, replacing a pad) and the web
`WireInstance` (loc 14); both wire shaders branch on it. The tessellator sets
`world_width` from the LwPolyline width on the Contour / SegmentedLines arms,
and the model-space fill loop no longer emits a hatch band for any LwPolyline.
Pick still uses the band polygon (`pick_tris`).
Blocks keep the hatch band: `LocalWire` carries no `world_width` (finalize
zeroes it), so a scaled insert still scales its band correctly.

Rectangular paper viewports now go through the same GPU stencil clip as
non-rectangular ones: viewport_clip_boundary_ndc returns the four rect
corners (a full-target mask) instead of nothing, so the render path has
no rect/non-rect special case — every content viewport carries a clip
boundary and draws with stencil reference 0xFF.
With a single clip path, the old per-wire / -image / -wipeout scissor
mechanism is fully dead and removed: compute_*_scissors, the
*_pixel_scissors buffers, the project_scissor helper, the per-pass
set_scissor_rect blocks, the vp_scissor field threaded through
WireModel / ImageModel / HatchModel and their GPU mirrors (WireGpu /
ImageGpu / WipeoutGpu / HatchWebGpu), from_run's scissor parameter, the
scissor grouping in build_wire_buffers, and the is_arena_eligible gate.
Net -245 lines across 54 files.
Rectangular viewports still clip exactly via their own render rectangle;
the stencil mask is a redundant full-target no-op there, kept only so
the clip code path stays uniform. XCLIP keeps its CPU wire clip.

A SOLID's filled quad and a dimension/MultiLeader text background are flat 2-D
overlays that should draw in wireframe and shaded alike, but face3d_gpu
classified fills by `!fill_tris_low.is_empty()` — and a 2-D fill at UTM scale
carries a double-single low residual for precision just like a real 3-D mesh
face. So the arrowhead fill and the "5;8" cyan text background were routed to
the 3-D buffer and only appeared in shaded mode, vanishing back to nothing on
return to wireframe.
WireModel now carries an explicit `fill_is_3d`: true only for a real surface
(PolyfaceMesh / PolygonMesh face, set in the tessellator), false for every flat
overlay fill. face3d_gpu classifies on the flag, so 2-D fills stay in the
always-visible buffer while keeping their low residual (and UTM precision).
Verified on budweiser: the `_BoxFilled` arrow SOLID and the dim '5;8' MTEXT
background both tessellate with fill_is_3d = false.

Selection tested a flat 8 px radius around each wire's centreline and
nothing else, so two things the user can see were not pickable.
A wire renders as a band `line_weight_px` wide, so pick now widens to that
rendered half-width via `pick_tolerance_px`, mirroring the wire shader's
`select(0.5, half_width, lwdisplay_enable)`. Behaviour is unchanged for
every standard weight (the widest, 2.11 mm, renders 7.97 px half-width —
just under the 8 px threshold); this keeps the two sides from drifting
apart if the display boost in `lineweight_to_px` ever changes.
Entities extruded by a DXF thickness draw their wall as four edges with
nothing in between, so the interior was a hole the cursor fell through.
WireModel gains `pick_tris`: triangles hit-testing treats as solid and the
renderer never uploads. Kept apart from `fill_tris` because that channel
reaches the GPU, and a wall that rendered shaded would change how every
thickness drawing looks. Ranked below `fill_tris` — those are drawn, these
are not, so where they overlap the drawn face is what the user means.
Walls are dropped when a wire is projected into a floating viewport:
`points` are reprojected and clipped into paper coords there, so cloned
model-space triangles would hit-test at a model-scale offset. Extruded
entities stay selectable by their edges, which do get projected.
The wall loop runs on every hover that misses everything else, so it
rejects on the wire's AABB first — an extruded circle is ~128 triangles
and a drawing full of thickness would otherwise project every wall on
each mouse move.

MLINE dashed elements were fully CPU-expanded (apply_along) — one wire per
dash — to keep the parallel lines in phase. Move pure-dash elements onto the
GPU dash shader and end-align every element to the multiline's centre-line so
they share one interior phase.
- wire_distances now accumulates arc-length from the double-single (high+low)
points, so the dash phase stays precise at UTM coordinates. f32-high-only
deltas quantised ~0.1 there and drifted the parallel lines apart — the
original reason MLINE dashes were CPU-side.
- New WireModel.dash_align_end carries a shared begin/end dash length. The
shader uses it as align_end for every parallel element (the interior phase
depends on align_end, not the wire's own length) while align_total stays the
element's own length, so each still ends on a dash at its own endpoint.
- MLINE tessellation derives that length once from the centre-line, routes
pure dash/space/dot elements to the GPU pattern and text-bearing elements to
apply_along.
- apply_along gained an "A"-type mode (shared reference length): a solid
begin/end dash and a phased interior, so its dashes — and embedded text —
line up with the GPU-dashed sibling elements instead of tiling from start.
Pure-dash MLINEs now cost one WireModel + pattern per element instead of N
segments; single (non-MLINE) entities keep the from-start tiling unchanged.

DET pipe walls now carry the stroke pattern (dash_from_start), which
tiles from each wall's own start vertex and skips the A-type end
alignment that was force-lighting a solid dash under the end symbol.
Two rendering fixes on top:
- Dedup the host polyline's vertices before offsetting the walls. Some
DGN pipe polylines carry trailing duplicate end vertices; a zero-length
segment gave offset_xy a degenerate normal, leaving that vertex
un-offset and folding the wall down to the centre line. The two walls'
fold segments met at the centre and drew a spurious line linking them.
- Re-key the symbol (end circle / half-ellipse) wires to the host handle
so the whole pipe picks and selects as one entity instead of the
symbols acting as separate phantom entities.

The Annotation Object Scale dialog (advertised in v0.8.2) was dead code:
bare OBJECTSCALE was caught by the immediate "mark selection annotative"
arm, so the `"OBJECTSCALE" =>` dialog arm below it never ran and nothing
else opened the dialog. Move the quick mark to an explicit `OBJECTSCALE ADD`
keyword (what the ribbon "Add Scale" button now sends, dispatched whole so
it doesn't collide), leaving bare OBJECTSCALE to open the dialog.
Typed values were quantized to the f32 grid before reaching the
entity (e.g. a length of 2000.8 committed as 2000.8020), worsening
with magnitude. The interaction point layer was all glam::Vec3 (f32).
Two-layer fix:
1. Coordinate backbone -> f64. last_point, last_cursor_world,
dyn_anchor, dyn_ref become DVec3; UcsXform transforms, parse_coord,
the ucs helper fns, dyn_resolve_point, the OTRACK typed-distance
paths, command-line coordinate entry and the coordinate readout all
compute in f64. Screen/GPU/alignment stays f32 (snap engine, render
geometry, projection, UCS-icon/viewcube drawing) with casts only at
those boundaries.
2. Per-command committed storage -> DVec3. on_point already received a
DVec3, but many command impls narrowed it back to f32 (let pt =
pt.as_vec3(); Vec<Vec3> fields) and re-widened at build, quantizing
the committed coordinate. Migrated PLINE, SPLINE, MLINE, LENGTHEN,
INSERT, 3D primitives, every dimension/leader/mleader, ray, revcloud,
wipeout, attdef, table, tolerance, array center, mview, plot_window,
plus the QDIM_PLACE handler and qdim_collect_points. Preview,
hit-test and rubber-band paths keep f32 at the boundary.
Hatch manual boundaries are left for a follow-up: HatchModel.boundary
is structurally Arc<Vec<[f32;2]>> and needs a model-level widen.

Command aliases (L→LINE, CC→COPYCLIP) were scattered across dispatch match
arms and CommandRegistration name arrays. Move them all into a single
user-editable file:
- assets/ocad.pgp: shipped default alias table (ALIAS,*COMMAND format),
embedded and copied to config/ocad.pgp on first launch; only that user
copy is read after. AA→AREA default closes#286.
- resolve_alias() rewrites the leading command token at the top of
dispatch_command_inner, so aliases resolve for every path (families,
plugins, Repeat menu). Args after the first space are untouched.
- Autocomplete hides alias keys and, when the whole input is an alias,
surfaces its target command as the top (highlighted) suggestion so the
highlight matches what Enter runs (AA→AREA, L→LINE).
- ALIASEDIT opens a new editor modal (add/edit/delete rows) with an Apply
button; Apply persists to ocad.pgp, closing discards unapplied edits.
- Strip alias tokens from all 8 dispatch match-arm files and 71 module
CommandRegistration arrays, keeping canonical/synonym/distinct-command
names. ocad.pgp is now the sole source: deleting or remapping an alias
there takes effect. CUI stays on the keyboard-shortcut panel.

Rearchitect SDF text from a document-wide collector to per-entity
production during tessellation, so each entity owns its glyph quads and
composite/nested text is covered for free (no re-explosion, no per-frame
document walk).
- WireModel gains `text_verts`: glyph quads ride on the wire, so they are
cached by the tess memo, cloned on hit, and transformed by the block
expand loop exactly like `points`.
- Text arm (tessellate.rs) builds the quads when SDF is on and suppresses
the strokes; render gathers text_verts from the viewport wire set
(`gather_text_verts`, cached on wire content id) — the old collector is
removed. Covers model, dimension, table, block-internal and paper-sheet
text uniformly.
- MLEADER text (lays out via layout_mtext, not the Text arm) gets its own
SDF branch driven by the per-run GlyphRun.
- Pick box comes from the rendered glyph quads (true text extent), not
entity_aabb which mis-places the box for MTEXT; composite paths no longer
clobber the empty text wire's tight AABB (dim pick box hugs the text).
- Selection / hover highlight via a text-highlight overlay (upload_text_
highlight, keyed on selection_generation) mirroring the selected-wire
xray overlay; base glyphs stay neutral so a deselect leaves no stale tint.
- Debug: env OCS_TEXT_BOX draws each run's glyph-bounds rectangle.

Change CadModule::ribbon_groups() from -> Vec<RibbonGroup> to -> &[RibbonGroup],
backed by a per-module OnceLock cache. The ribbon group tree is static data
(&'static str, Copy enums) that was being fully reconstructed — Vecs, String
clones, enum discriminants — on every call, including all three per-frame
call sites (view(), dropdown_overlay(), style_combo_overlay()).
- 7 built-in modules + 2 plugin templates cache via function-local OnceLock.
Safe because each is a unit struct with exactly one instance per process
(plugins run in isolated child processes; see PluginProcess::spawn()).
- SharedCadModule avoids the static pattern entirely, storing groups in an
instance field (owned.rs).
- IPC runner converts &RibbonGroup -> OwnedRibbonGroup directly via new
From<&T> impls, avoiding an intermediate clone.
- render_small/render_large and the two make_tool_row closures now borrow
(&RibbonItem, &[ToolDef]) instead of taking ownership, so the view loop
doesn't need to clone items to satisfy the old by-value signatures.
- Various match-ergonomics deref fixes (*id, *default, *icon, etc.) from
the &RibbonItem pattern change.
Broad pass over the command set: integrate missing commands, wire
previously-unreachable ribbon/menu buttons, and correct name/behaviour
mismatches. Every UI command token now resolves (real handler where the
infrastructure exists, an honest "not yet implemented" status otherwise).
New commands:
- Draw: 3DPOLY, 2D solid (SO/SOLID2D), HELIX, TRACE, SKETCH, DIMCENTER
(DCE/CENTERMARK)
- Modify/inquiry: REVERSE, MEASUREGEOM (MEA), DBLIST
- Data/manage: BASE, OVERKILL (exact-duplicate removal), AUDIT (read-only
integrity report), SETVAR (system-variable get/set), SCRIPT (.scr runner),
FINDNONPURGEABLE
Behaviour fixes:
- LINE and SPLINE gain Close/Undo; AREA computes area/perimeter in f64
(correct at large coordinates)
- ATTEDIT/ATE unified so the alias and the ribbon button open the
interactive editor; -ATTEDIT is the command-line form
- Linear/aligned/radius/diameter dimensions gain a text override (Text) and
text angle (Angle) option
- INSERT gains Scale/Rotate options; COPY gains an Array option
- LINETYPE SET sets the current entity linetype; SETBYLAYER resets overrides
- UNDO accepts a step count
Integrations: standard dimension/block aliases (DLI/DRA/DAN, BMAKE,
EXPORTPDF, DDIM), drafting-aid and screen toggles (GRID/SNAP/POLAR/OSNAP/
DSETTINGS/CLEANSCREEN/QUICKPROPERTIES), viewport tiling
(CASCADE/HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL/VPJOIN), and customization entry points
(CUI/ALIASEDIT).

Batch 1-3 of the dimension audit (19 issues). The dominant class was the
baked *D block diverging from the live render: a reloaded dimension renders
from that block, so on save+reopen it silently changed.
Bake now matches the live render:
- text value/format via the shared style-resolved path (DIMDEC/DIMLFAC/
DIMPOST/units/<>), correct height + rotation ladder, suppression
- angular dims bake their swept arc (no longer collapse to a V)
- diameter draws edge-to-edge through the centre (live + bake), centre mark
- radius/linear/aligned bake arrowheads
- group-10 (base.definition_point) synced from the edited geometry so an
edited dim no longer shifts on reload
Editing / properties:
- aligned no longer corrupts ext_line_rotation when a coordinate is edited
- DIMTEDIT pins the moved text (text_user_positioned)
- angle properties shown/edited in degrees
- non-linear text respects the user-positioned gate
Commands / geometry:
- DIMBASELINE stacks outward (not toward the points) and its preview no
longer tilts over non-level points
- DIMCONTINUE/DIMBASELINE inherit the base dim's text rotation (UCS chains)
- angular extension lines reach the arc (no gap)
- text grip sits on the text for auto-placed dims instead of the origin
Refs #181. (acadrust DXF round-trip + QDIM/DIMBREAK/DIMJOGLINE/DIMSPACE/
DIMEDIT to follow.)

The continued dimension line was positioned with an offset measured from
the base dimension's *first* extension origin, then re-applied to each new
chain point (the previous dim's second origin). When the two extension
origins sat at different perpendicular positions — i.e. the extension
lines had different lengths — that offset placed the new dim line at
`D + (p2 - p1)·perp` instead of the base line's `D`, so the chain drifted
off the base line. Equal-length extension lines have `(p2 - p1)·perp = 0`,
which is why it only misbehaved sometimes.
Store the base dim line's absolute perpendicular coordinate and project
each extension origin onto it, so the whole chain stays collinear
regardless of extension-line lengths. The preview uses the same
projection.

DIMALIGNED's drag preview never matched where the dimension landed. The
preview offset the dimension line in the XZ plane while the committed
entity's renderer offsets in the XY plane, and the commit path passed the
straight-line p2→cursor *distance* to `set_offset`, which re-applies it
along the perpendicular — wrong distance, always on the +perp side. Both
now store the cursor as the definition point and project it onto the
XY-plane perpendicular, matching the renderer and DIMLINEAR.
The same XZ-vs-XY plane confusion affected other annotate commands:
- DIMORDINATE worked entirely in the XZ plane (dropping the Y coordinate)
and left `definition_point` at the origin, so the leader kinked through
(0,0,0). Reworked onto the XY plane with a proper orthogonal elbow and a
live preview that matches the placed entity.
- DIMTEDIT / DIMJOGLINE cursor markers were built in the XZ plane, so in
the top-down view they collapsed to a flat line instead of a box /
zigzag. Rebuilt in the XY plane.

Whole command/snap/grip/cursor chain now builds on f64 DVec3 end to end,
so picked points, snaps and grip drags stay precise at UTM-scale
coordinates instead of quantizing to ~0.5 m through f32.
- All ~80 command files migrated: draw (line/circle/arc/ellipse/shapes
in full f64; others via point methods), modify, annotate, insert, view,
inquiry, layers, groups, clipboard, layout.
- Entity apply_grip impls updated for GripApply::{Absolute,Translate}(DVec3).
- Construction sites (EntityTransform/CmdResult/DynAnchor) emit DVec3;
wire-preview boundaries cast to f32 only at the GPU edge.
- Modify/annotate commands keep internal Vec3 geometry where precision is
non-critical, casting at the DVec3 boundary; key draw commands store f64.
Builds clean (no warnings). Visual verification of crosshair/snap/grip at
extreme UTM zoom pending.

Table / PolyfaceMesh / greek-text / mleader-background fills go through
the face3d pipeline; their vertices were single f32 and quantized at UTM
scale. WireModel now carries a fill_tris_low residual (filled by the
tessellate Lines path), Face3DVertex gains position_low (location 3), and
face3d.wgsl reconstructs the eye-relative position from the pair. 3DFACE
quads built from key_vertices use a zero residual (no low source).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.7 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Foundation for double-single positions: WireModel now carries an
index-paired f32 residual buffer (`points_low`) next to the existing
`points` high half. Empty means "all-zero residual", so every existing
constructor (interactive draw, previews) is unchanged in behaviour;
tessellation from CAD f64 will fill it in the next steps so vertex
precision survives at UTM-scale coordinates.

New annotations now place their text and reading geometry along the
active UCS X axis (identity = world), so they read square to the user's
coordinate system instead of world-horizontal:
- TEXT / MTEXT: rotation defaults to the UCS X angle
(DocumentTab::ucs_rotation_angle, model space only).
- Linear dimensions: measure along the UCS axis the span is nearest, and
bake the UCS X angle as the text rotation so the value reads square
even under a style that forces horizontal text. DIMCONTINUE / DIMBASELINE
derive their axis from the base dim's rotation (any angle), not a
world H/V test.
- LEADER: the MText annotation rotates to the UCS, and the hookline runs
along the leader's horizontal_direction (set to UCS X), used by the
renderer instead of world horizontal.
- MLEADER: context.text_direction = UCS X drives both the text rotation
and, in the renderer, the text side and dogleg/landing direction.

ARRAY3D/3DARRAY, ATTEDIT/ATE, DDEDIT/ED and WIPEOUT/WO dispatched on literal
matches but had no CommandRegistration entry, so none surfaced in command-line
autocomplete. Add the inventory submit in each command's module, matching the
convention used by the other interactive commands. Audit confirms no remaining
active_cmd dispatch lacks a registration.

Fold the Single/Multiple value parsing in TexteditCommand's Mode step into
the shared parse_texteditmode() helper, and report unrecognized input to
the user — the Mode step now stays active and re-prompts with
"Requires Single or Multiple." instead of silently ignoring the value.

Merge PR #130 (KarimJerbi) and resolve review findings:
- Conflict (settings.rs): keep current persisted-settings layout, append
texteditmode field.
- Conflict (command/mod.rs): keep both new CmdResult variants — main's
live-entity ops and the PR's text-edit suspend/resume.
- Bug: invalid TEXTEDITMODE value no longer aborts via the Measurement
arm; it now re-prompts with the error and stays active.
- Dedup: single parse_texteditmode() helper replaces the value parsing
duplicated across commands.rs, settings.rs and textedit.rs.
- Strip trailing whitespace.

- Adds TEXTEDIT command to seamlessly edit annotation objects in-place.
- Matches industry-standard CAD tools' prompt behavior and "Current settings" banner logic.
- Implements the TEXTEDITMODE system variable (0/1) for Multiple vs Single editing modes.
- Enhances command lifecycle with CmdResult::SuspendForTextEdit and post_editor_closed hooks, allowing commands to cleanly pause and resume after external UI editors close.
UI chrome (dropdown carets, undo/redo, checkmarks, close/menu/osnap,
layer/file-menu icons) and ribbon tool icons were drawn as Unicode
glyphs. Desktop fills missing glyphs via system-font fallback, but the
web build bundles only Fira Sans with no fallback, so they rendered as
empty tofu boxes (issue #116).
Add a shared src/ui/icons.rs (SVG-backed, tintable) plus bundled assets,
and switch every glyph site and IconKind::Glyph tool def to SVG.

The Home tab was already titled "Draw"; rename the module to match:
folder modules/home → modules/draw, HomeModule → DrawModule, id "home"
→ "draw". The inner draw/ command folder is kept (modules::draw::draw).
Update build.rs PRIORITY ("home" → "draw") so the tab returns to the
front of the ribbon; registry.rs regenerates accordingly.

Move the 30 flat modules under src/scene/ into six folders by role:
convert (entity→geometry), text (fonts/shaping), model (render models),
pick (hit-test/selection/grips/xclip), view (camera/transform/render),
cache (block + property caches). pipeline/ is unchanged.
Full path migration — all `scene::X` references become
`scene::<group>::X`, no compatibility re-exports. render.rs items that
were `pub(super)` (parent was scene) become `pub(in crate::scene)` to
keep their original scene-wide visibility.
No behavior change; build and tests are green.

The pick/typed point is the world XY plane (z = elevation = 0), but
several entity builders still mapped the screen point as if the world
were Y-up (drawing in XZ), reading the constant elevation as the DXF Y.
That collapsed shapes onto a single line — e.g. a revision cloud always
came out as two horizontal lines regardless of the path drawn.
Map the drawing-plane point straight through (x→x, y→y, z→elevation) in:
revcloud, donut, mline, raster image, wipeout (polygonal + rectangular),
table, attribute definition, and tolerance. Previews already used the
correct pass-through, so they matched the cursor; only the committed
geometry was wrong.

Reworks MLEADER text/leader geometry and grip editing, and aligns LEADER
to MLEADER's conventions (kept as separate entities).
Text & landing (render path):
- Text is side-anchored on the leader-facing edge and reads outward; the
side, alignment and the horizontal landing are recomputed every frame
from the text grip's position relative to the leader, so moving the
arrow or the text re-mirrors the whole layout and the landing stays
attached to the text's near edge.
- Fixes#49: text was centred on the leader endpoint regardless of side.
Grips:
- Text-location grip plus an MTEXT-style triangle wrap-width grip at the
box's far edge; dragging it sets the MText wrap width.
- Multifunction grip menu restored and made functional: leader-line
vertices offer Add Leader / Remove Leader (Add grabs the new arrow so it
follows the cursor — click places, Esc removes it); the text grip offers
Move Independent (text only) and Move with Leader (translates the whole
multileader via a move-all sentinel grip).
Arrows:
- LEADER and MLEADER arrowheads now render at the same size (text height),
matching previews.

Route every text-bearing entity to an in-place editor instead of the
command line: a plain text box for single-line text (Text, attributes,
dimension override, tolerance) and the rich MText editor for MText /
MultiLeader. A Leader resolves to the entity it annotates.
- TEXT places a plain text box at the click; double-click edits in place.
- DDEDIT and double-click on any text entity open the matching editor.
- MLEADER places the leader then opens the MText editor on its content.
- LEADER follows the classic flow: points, Enter, then a linked empty
MText annotation opens in the editor; the leader's annotation_handle
links the pair so they edit/erase as a unit.
Adds shared field read/write helpers and a begin_text_edit router, plus
CommitAndEditText / CommitManyAndEditText results that commit an entity
and open its editor (commit_entity now returns the new handle).

- Added SVG icons for text formatting options (bold, italic, underline, overline, strike, uppercase, lowercase).
- Introduced a new `MTextEditorState` struct to manage the state of the MText editor.
- Implemented functionality to open the MText editor from the command line and edit existing MText entities.
- Added message handling for various MText editor actions (formatting, height, style, font, justification, alignment, line spacing).
- Created a dedicated preview area for MText rendering within the editor.
- Updated the command structure to support opening the MText editor and handling text input.
- Refactored existing MText command logic to integrate with the new editor.
Type-as-you-go suggestion popup above the input that filters known
command names by substring (so `LEADER` surfaces both LEADER and
MLEADER). Up / Down navigates the list, Enter dispatches the
highlighted entry, clicking a row dispatches directly. Esc on a
non-empty input clears the buffer instead of escalating to
command-cancel.
The name corpus comes from `inventory::submit!` blocks placed next
to each `CadCommand` impl rather than a hand-maintained static list.
Adding a new interactive command means dropping one `inventory::submit!`
line in its own module file — the autocomplete picks it up at the
next compile. 98 submissions seeded across 60 module files;
`command::all_registered_command_names()` flattens them at runtime.
One-shot dispatch arms in `app/commands.rs` (NEW, OPEN, SAVE, UNDO,
…) don't have a `CadCommand` impl and are therefore absent from
autocomplete by design.

Two behaviour changes that bring the command line in line with
established CAD workflow:
1. **Always-on keyboard capture.** The input was blurred whenever no
command was running, so typed letters went nowhere until the user
clicked into the field. Replace the blur with a re-focus on every
command lifecycle transition (cmd_result.rs) and on viewport / tab
/ ribbon clicks (update.rs), focus the input at startup, and add
a global key subscription that catches any unhandled character key
or backspace and routes it into the buffer via two new messages
(CommandAppendChar / CommandBackspace) — so the command line keeps
accumulating keystrokes even if focus parks somewhere not
focusable. Removes the unused blur_cmd_input helper.
2. **Space submits.** Typing a space at the end of the input now
submits the buffer the same way Enter does. Only exception: an
active command that's currently collecting free-form prose
(TEXT / MTEXT / DDEDIT body, ATTDEF prompt / default value,
INSERT attribute value, ATTEDIT cell). Those advertise the new
`CadCommand::wants_text_with_spaces()` flag so the Space character
reaches the buffer as a literal.

Tessellation and DIMBASELINE pick up the few DimStyle fields that were
still hard-coded or ignored:
- DIMTMOVE = 1 draws a connector segment from the dim-line anchor to the
saved text_middle_point when the text has been moved
- Leader arrows are resolved via the leader's DIMSTYLE → DIMLDRBLK; the
shape (closed-filled / open / dot / tick / …) is drawn through the same
arrow emitter the dim path uses, including fill_tris for filled blocks
- DIMBASELINE picks up DIMDLI from the active DimStyle instead of the
hard-coded 1.5 increment
- DIMTOFL / DIMTIX / DIMATFIT / DIMUPT / DIMTXTDIRECTION are read so the
fields round-trip on save; their effect is at dim creation, not render,
so they're acknowledged with a no-op block

PolyfaceMesh and PolygonMesh were wireframe-only. They now render with
the same flat-color solid fill as Face3D entities.
- Add fill_tris: Vec<[f32;3]> to TruckEntity and WireModel
- PolyfaceMesh: fan-triangulate each face into fill_tris
- PolygonMesh: triangulate each grid quad into fill_tris
- tessellate.rs Lines branch: apply world_offset to fill_tris
- Face3DGpu::from_wires: collect fill_tris from all wires in addition
to Face3D key_vertices quads
- upload_face3d: pass all_wires so fill_tris are batched into one draw call
Viewport-projected wires now clip at pixel level to their viewport boundary.
- WireModel.vp_scissor: Option<[f32; 4]> — paper-space bbox set on projection
- WireGpu.vp_scissor carries it through to the draw loop
- Pipeline.compute_wire_scissors() converts paper→NDC→pixel each frame
- render() calls set_scissor_rect() per wire, reset after viewport group
- INTEGRATION_GAPS.md: Viewport ⚠️ → ✅, all 51 gaps resolved

LwPolyline PLINEGEN=0 (DXF default): emit SegmentedLines with NaN
separators between vertex-to-vertex segments; wire_gpu resets
arc-length to 0 after each NaN so linetype pattern restarts per vertex.
PLINEGEN=1: existing Contour path unchanged (continuous pattern).
WireModel gains plinegen field propagated through tessellate pipeline.
Solid3D/Region/Body: call SabReader::read() when parse_sat() returns
None due to binary SAB format (DWG files / newer AutoCAD exports).

Add `aabb: [f32; 4]` field to WireModel (world-space 2-D bounding box).
In tessellate_entity() set each wire's AABB from e.as_entity().bounding_box()
via new entity_aabb() helper; Insert sub-entities each get their own AABB.
Preview/interim wires and any entity returning a zero-extent default box get
UNBOUNDED_AABB so they are never pre-rejected.
Replace the chord-sphere heuristic in Snapper::wire_in_range() with a proper
AABB vs snap-circle overlap test. The new check is four scalar comparisons and
correctly handles closed curves (circles, arcs) which the chord-sphere approach
had to special-case.

- Redesign View ribbon tab with 8 groups matching AutoCAD layout:
Viewport Tools (UCS Icon, ViewCube, Navigation Bar),
Navigate, Model Viewports (Viewport Configuration, Named, Join, Restore),
Visual Style (dropdown), Projection, Preset,
Palettes (Tool Palettes, Properties, Sheet Set Manager),
Interface (File Tabs, Layout Tabs, Tile Horiz/Vert, Cascade)
- Add Extract Data and Link Data tools to Annotate → Tables group
- Fix tab order to Home → Insert → Annotate → View → Manage via build.rs PRIORITY list
- Add 17 new SVG icons for all new commands

New StyleComboGroup RibbonItem renders a dropdown combobox for selecting
text style, dimension style, multileader style, or table style. Ribbon
groups in the Annotate tab now match the reference layout: each group
has a large tool on the left and a style combobox with tool rows on the
right.
Each combobox shows the active style name, opens a scrollable item list
on click, and has an optional "Manage…" row that fires the style manager
command (STYLE / DIMSTYLE / MLEADERSTYLE / TABLESTYLE).
Style state is synced from the document on every layer refresh via
sync_ribbon_styles(). RibbonStyleChanged message propagates selections
back to the acadrust document header and the active_mleader_style field.
