Karim Jerbi 7bbc5b0319 fix(ui): explain silent anno-scale toggles, theme xref empty state
AnnoObjectScaleToggle had three silent no-op paths (no target, locked layer, unknown scale); each now pushes command-line info mirroring the open-path guards. Xref empty-state hardcoded grey now uses muted_style. DD_BOUNDS eviction and attr-clamp changes investigated and deliberately dropped (no reachable defect in either). Tests: anno_scale_toggle_tests cover all three paths (RED: silence). Full suite: 2032 passed / 0 failed / 25 ignored, zero warnings.

Karim Jerbi 6c3cfb55b5 fix(layers): VP glyph and filter-aware shift ranges
VP-freeze columns used the global-freeze glyph; shift-ranges swept filtered-out rows into bulk ops. Glyph swapped to layer_vp_freeze (ribbon precedent); new visible_indices helper shared by the view loop and the shift arm. Test: shift_select_skips_filtered_out_rows (RED: hidden row in range). Full suite: 2028 passed / 0 failed / 25 ignored.

Karim Jerbi d1da26feb6 fix(properties): scope asym-scale opt-out per tab
props_asym_scale was app-global keyed by raw handle values, but fresh documents restart numbering at seed 1, leaking one tab's unchecked Uniform box into another tab reusing the value. The set moves to DocumentTab; all uses tab-scoped. Also removes a dead destructure left in overlay.rs. Test: asym_scale_opt_out_does_not_leak_across_tabs with handle-reuse premise assert (RED first). Full suite: 2025 passed / 0 failed / 25 ignored, zero warnings.

Karim Jerbi 6d6a8b1439 fix(layers): key rename and picker state by name, not row
LayerPanel.editing and color_picker_row were positional indices, so a sort/sync/filter between start and commit retargeted renames and swatches. Both are Option<String> now; commit resolves fresh with graceful no-op on deleted layers. Existing rename tests migrated. Tests: layer_rename_commit_follows_name_across_resort (RED first) plus deleted/empty no-op and picker-resort pins. Full suite: 2019 passed / 0 failed / 25 ignored.

Karim Jerbi 2187fe0d34 fix(tablestyle): ribbon pick writes header so inserts follow it
StyleKey::TableStyle only updated the ribbon mirror, so inserts kept using the header value and resync re-seeded from the mirror. The arm now writes current_table_style_name plus dirty when the style exists, and sync_ribbon_styles seeds from the document like Text/Dim. Tests: tablestyle_ribbon_pick_writes_header_and_dirties plus pick_flows_into_table_insert covering pick-to-dialog (both RED first). Full suite: 1996 passed / 0 failed / 25 ignored.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 340104bf1b feat(options): interface scale for the whole window
On a non-Retina screen macOS draws the interface at 1x, which reads small
on a Full HD monitor, and there was no way to enlarge it. Options >
Display now offers an interface scale of 75–200 % in 25 % steps, applied
through the window's scale factor on top of the display's own and kept
with the user settings. It is a list rather than a slider because the
dialog rescales under the pointer as the value changes.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 018ac455cb feat(mcp): select by window or crossing box
select takes window [x1, y1, x2, y2] in world XY, with crossing to also
take what the box crosses. It runs the viewport's own box test, now one
helper (box_selection_handles) that the drag and click-move-click
gestures share; the drag gesture applies the selection filter as the
click one already did.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 9adb6f59c8 fix(copy): a copy reacts only to what was copied with it
COPY and PASTE kept the source's reactors on each copy, so a copied
dimension still pointed at the source's dimension association (and
boundary or group members at the source hatch or group). Another
application reports such a drawing as damaged and, after recovery,
moves the dimensions. A copy's reactors now follow only targets copied
with it; group copies give their members the new group's reactor; and a
drawing opened with such stray dimension reactors has them dropped.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 33640e050d feat(solid history): Ctrl+click picks a composite's solid; show history draws them
Ctrl+click on a composite selects it with the solid under the cursor as
the one its palette and grips edit: the solid whose own surface passes
through the picked point. With its history shown, a composite draws the
edges of the solids its booleans joined, each where it sits.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 d3033caf24 feat(solid history): booleans keep the solids they joined editable
With SOLIDHIST on, UNION, SUBTRACT and INTERSECT no longer reduce the
result's history to a frozen body: each solid's history joins the
result's under a boolean step, in the order the result applied them.
The Properties palette lists a composite's solids under Operand; the one
chosen shows its own geometry rows and grips, placed where it sits in
the composite, and editing it replays the whole tree. A composite read
from a file keeps its saved body; the tree is replayed only on edits.

F4briziandClaude Opus 5.5 4b72da6b83 fix(viewport): take a command's point on mouse-down (#1623)
A point or pick step commits on the press, so the cursor drifting before
the button comes up no longer moves it. Selection steps and drag-fence
picks still wait for the release.

The press runs the existing release path once; the command path clears
left_down, so the real release that follows does nothing. This replaces
the PR's moved click block and press_consumed_point flag, which could
stay set when the release landed outside the viewport and swallow the
next release, and which broke TRIM's press-and-drag fence.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 1c242eb489 Fields: stored values on redraw, evaluation events, per-field shading
MTEXT draws its stored text instead of re-evaluating fields on every
redraw. Fields update on their evaluation events as the reference does:
open (1), save (2, not autosave), plot (4) and REGEN/REGENALL (16), each
masked with the drawing's FIELDEVAL (variable dictionary, 0-31, with the
reference's prompt and message), and the new UPDATEFIELD command
(selection, attributes of selected block references, "N field(s)
found." / "N field(s) updated."). A Date field (on demand only) keeps
its value until UPDATEFIELD. The FIELDDISPLAY gray box now covers each
field's own glyphs, one box per line it spans, instead of the whole
text. Codec moved to the update_fields / field_spans revision.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 71cebbb3fe Plot: redraw PlotDate hosts inside blocks and attributes
A plot stamps PlotDate fields, but the redraw only dropped the host's
own tessellation: an attribute is drawn by its INSERT and a host inside
a block definition by every reference to the block, so both still
showed the old value on screen and in the plotted output. The changed
hosts now redraw through their INSERT / the block's references (block
cache refreshed), without re-tessellating anything else. The codec is
patched to the field format code fixes.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 3a5c1dbb7d fix(sheetset): read drawings off the UI thread
The wizard's folder scan, Import Layout as Sheet, the template layout
lists and the drawing cache behind Model Views, Place on Sheet, callout /
label blocks and block previews parsed whole DWGs on the UI thread. They
now go through the shared `background_task` worker: a cache miss reads the
drawing and handles the message that needed it again. Block previews lend
the cached drawing to the preview scene instead of cloning it.

Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 8b9049c604 fix(view): keep named views of earlier versions at their place, in f64
A VIEW record's centre is an offset from its target in view coordinates.
Views saved by earlier versions stored the target itself as the centre;
treating that as an offset put them (and VIEW plots) at about twice the
coordinates. One shared `named_view_center` now resolves the centre in
f64 (DVec3/DQuat), taking a centre equal to a non-zero target as the old
convention; VIEW RESTORE, the view plot window and Place on Sheet use it.

Karim Jerbi 5f016e1192 fix(layers): carry layer name instead of row index in Message::Layer*
Closes the view-to-dispatch resort race: the nine Layer* variants plus ColorPickTarget::Layer now carry the layer name and resolve to the current panel row at dispatch time via layer_panel_index; unknown names no-op. Hakan SevenandClaude Opus 5.5 de6e27304d perf(layers): toggle layer visibility without re-tessellating
Turning a 141k-entity layer off/on took 1.5-5 s; it now takes ~0.6-0.9 s.

- Off/freeze toggles go through invalidate_layer_visibility: entities on
the layer keep their tessellation memo (visibility gates them before
tessellation); only block users re-expand. No mesh recolor.
- The resident patch reuses a surviving memo entry instead of
re-tessellating, guarded by the same display-context hash as the full
  build.
- The patch looked up `layout.order` linearly per re-shown entity, which
made turning a big layer back on quadratic.
- recolor_meshes_for_handles resolved materials for handles with no mesh.
- Wire arena: a hidden slab keeps its instances and sets a `hidden` flag
in its consts (collapsed in the vertex shader); an unchanged re-show only
clears the flag. Const writes are batched into merged spans.
- The `layer_visible` automation action indexed the document's layer
table instead of the sortable panel rows the Layer* messages use.

ramox81andClaude Opus 5.5 0a26709d13 Count: measured messages and listing, groups, Current area, boundary checks, fills and solids recoloured
- COUNTCOLOR / COUNTERRORCOLOR / COUNTSERVICE reject any other value with
the range message; COUNTTABLE ? lists in the reference order, padded,
22 lines a page with Press ENTER to continue:, then the totals.
- Target picks report N found / N found, M total; several objects (or one
that is not a block reference) count their copies, shown as Geometries
  in the palette.
- Current area is the area in use (kept aside by Entire model space),
otherwise all of model space; an invalid Object boundary ends with the
  reference message.
- Count colours reach solids and fills; the palette list and the count
are recomputed only when the drawing changes.
