engine: the heated-bracket guard checks its element count, not wall time
The 60 s limit failed on the Linux CI heavy job (106 s in the test profile) while the mesh was within its band; the count is what #303's blow-up changes. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01UhhZMBTviDQxZvwnyP89fo
