jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 f220c7108b solver: a job cancelled before it starts stops before any setup work
The cancel check came only at the factorization, so on a busy CI runner a
pre-cancelled frequency solve still spent 17 s on setup (cancel_tests).

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 fe1fc30be5 docs: regenerate the gallery captures, Start-card thumbnails and setup-symbols picture for 0.6.0
Window captures (light theme, 1400 x 860) of every sample solved on the current UI; the
thumbnails that were viewport crops are now clean ui.render images like the others; the drop
test's figure at 0.1 ms reads 129 MPa.

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 1f85a8caa3 ui: typed form fields for label lists, point lists, multi-choices and number-or-auto (#169)
Four field kinds in the schema, each checked and described in JSON Schema: labels (nodes or
elements, typed as 1-5, 8 with Use selection taking the viewport's picks), points (rows of
x, y, z, added and removed), multi (checkboxes: coupling DOFs, step output) and number or
auto (the deformed scale). Node and element lists, probe and Delaunay points and block
corners use them; the remaining JSON fields hold geometry-specific shapes.

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 c0cbcadf3d ui: Mesh Quality shows counts, a histogram per metric and the worst elements (#113)
The context panel reads mesh.quality's reply as the counts (an area only for a surface mesh),
each metric's min, mean and max over its histogram (the bad end warm), and its worst element: a
click selects and frames it. Invalid and undetermined elements have a button that selects
and frames them.

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 d1557a87fe results: export probe and reaction results to CSV (results.export.csv, #92)
results.export.csv runs solve.probe or results.reactions and writes their reply as an RFC 4180
CSV: a row per node (node, x, y, z and the quantities the step has, columns it does not have
left out) or per set with the total and the applied load; numbers in shortest round-trip form,
so they read back bit for bit. A stale result is refused. The results panel has Export CSV…
beside Reaction sums and under the probed node: the save picker, or the form without one.

jyvikoandClaude Opus 5.5 5112855b83 results: clamp the contour legend's range; values above it in an over colour (#191)
results.contour takes range {min?, max?} (or "auto"), kept until the field changes: a
singular peak no longer squeezes the field into the bottom bands. Values above a clamped
maximum go to an extra band drawn in the over colour, split exactly at the clamp; the legend
shows that band up to the true maximum and says it is clamped. The results panel has Legend
max/min (Auto or a value), the MCP show_results tool a range argument, and headless pictures
follow the clamp too.

file.new replaces the session with an empty one: no design, mesh, definitions, results or
journal, nothing to save, the undo history empty. The File menu and Cmd/Ctrl+N run it, asking
first over unsaved changes. A sample name the app does not know (a typo, an old ?sample= link)
opens the samples to choose from, and the status names it.

One formatter (four significant digits, thousands separators, round-off as

- legend title with its unit, a mode shape normalised; Max/Min with units,
clickable to show and probe the node; markers at both in the viewport
  (#321, #330)
- the deformation scale field shows the scale Deformed would use, never 0,
in the shared format; true scale named (#325, #326)
- setup symbols off over results by default (Show › Loads & BCs), and then
  only the shown step's (#327)
- reaction sums in the results panel however they are run: per set and in
all, force and moment with units, applied beside reacted (#328)
- the probe: U [mm], |U|, Mises, stresses and principals with units, the
label kept inside the viewport, rows in the results panel (#329)
- hiding the mesh over a plot hides the element edges, not the contours
(#317); a hidden body's contours go with it, the range follows what is
  shown (#365)
- the solve summary: peaks with units, n/a rows left out, counts grouped,
  internals under Details (#321, #319)
- the energies plot: axes with units, a cursor at the frame (click or drag
to move it), hover to read (#331)

- Quantity names the unit of every number the results show from the model's
unit system (mm, MPa, N, N·mm, mJ, mW, °C or K); Field::title puts it in the
legend title, and calls a mode shape normalised (#321).
- A solved step's result stays current through edits that leave what it reads
alone (Model::step_inputs: other steps and what only they use), and comes
  back current on undo (#318).
- Session::step_glyphs: the symbols of what a solved step used, for drawing
over its results; no load arrows on a frequency step's modes (#327).
- Nonlinear static steps open deformed at true scale like explicit ones, and
their automatic scale is 1 (auto_scale, shared by the viewport and the
  headless pictures) (#326).
- results.reactions with an empty sets list sums the step's boundary-condition
sets, as its form says (#328).

(tet, hex, blocks) left a selected edge with no highlight while the mesh
was shown. The edge is now marked along its own polyline, which the scene
already draws over the mesh.
