* Toolbar drop-downs highlight the row under the pointer and the keyboard focus (#288)
A panel drop-down's command rows are full-width rows that take the theme's hover background
(icon, label and shortcut on it) when hovered or focused. Up/Down move the focus through the
enabled rows, Enter starts the command, Escape closes the drop-down. Rows publish
`dropdown:<id>` and the highlighted one `dropdown_hot:<id>`; scenario s46 checks pointer and
keyboard highlight.

* Toolbar: drag commands from drop-downs onto the toolbar; pin icon; Customize Toolbar… (#289)
- A panel drop-down row drags onto the toolbar (a button or a panel's free space, with the
drop line) and is pinned there; the dragged command's icon follows the pointer.
- A toolbar button dragged off the toolbar, or back into the open drop-down, leaves it (its
icon shows a cross while releasing would remove it).
- A hovered drop-down row shows a pin at its end: click to pin or unpin.
- Right-click on the toolbar's empty space: Customize Toolbar… (a window listing the tab's
commands with check boxes, and Reset Toolbar) and Reset Toolbar; command menus have
Customize Toolbar… too.
- Still per workspace and tab, kept with the preferences. Toolbar buttons also publish
`button:<id>`; scenario s47 drags a row to the toolbar, unpins by dragging off and into the
drop-down, uses the pin icon and Customize Toolbar…, and checks it survives a restart.

* Expose interactive editing and placement of sketch text
* Respect document units when editing sketch text
* Route Edit Text through the shared feature dialog
The sketch text editor is now a Kind::Text dialog opened through
Dialog::for_command (frame.rs docking, standard OK/Cancel, Enter/Esc).
Its fields are ordinary dialog fields: they take expressions, parameters
and units, and bare lengths are in the design's units. Untouched fields
keep their exact saved values. The dialog stays open across unrelated
design changes and closes only when its text is gone, the sketch ends,
or another command starts.

The control channel read each request with no length cap, so a client sending
gigabytes without a newline made the server thread allocate until the process
was killed. Read lines against the 16 MiB cap the MCP server already uses, now
one shared constant, answer a longer one with an error and close; close a
connection after eight lines that are not JSON, serve at most sixteen
connections at once, and run at most sixty-four queued requests per frame so a
flood cannot starve drawing.
Every file command checked the size with the metadata and then read to the end.
A character device such as /dev/zero reports a length of 0, so the cap passed
and the read was unbounded; a FIFO blocked the calling thread, which over the
control channel is the thread drawing the window. vfs::read now takes the
caller's cap, refuses anything that is not a regular file before opening it,
re-checks on the handle to close the window between the two, and reads no more
than the cap plus the byte that proves it was exceeded. Callers pass the limits
they already had, and the recovery read and the CLI's own reads go through it
too. `solvecraft-cli eval /dev/zero` and a FIFO now fail at once instead of
never returning.

Record ownership transfers in the timeline so earlier Join/Cut membership,
world placement, machining data and styles survive component moves, edits,
independent copying, undo and reopening. Preserve pending positions in history
snapshots and keep constructor transfers ordered during feature redefinition.
Retain shallow sheet pockets and exact planar intersection islands through
unfold/refold, with depth-aware flat previews and DXF export. Store explicit
3D wire coordinate spaces and migrate known legacy provenance without moving
saved points or analytic fits.
Infer unique eligible cylindrical Emboss targets, align Revolve manipulators
with actual extent geometry, and discard obsolete preview errors after input
correction. Certify constructed and immutable imported face styles using exact
source metadata while preserving legacy face names. Upgrade designs to format10
with bounded validation and geometry-preserving legacy migration.
Persist typed sketch dimensions and bounded ordered configuration rules in format 8. Use exact occurrence paths and source identity for editing, movement, appearance, and mass. Preserve sheet material regions through cutting, folding, and exact DXF export; retain nested cavities and material islands.
Validation: cargo xtask ci passed, including 368 engine tests, 178 UI tests, 68 UI scenarios, 136 kernel tests, and the 10-crate wasm check. Actual preview workflows and legacy format-7 origin-corner reopening were inspected.
Pages: General (theme Dark/Light/System, UI scale, units of new designs, autosave, display
precision, the agent cursor), Navigation (Fusion, SolidWorks, Inventor, Alias and Tinkercad
mouse presets, reverse zoom, zoom to the cursor, orbit centre, view-change animation on/off and
speed), Keyboard Shortcuts (the old Shortcuts window as a page: search, rebind, conflicts),
Design (default modelling orientation Y up / Z up for #3, and the offer to stand up a Y-up STEP
or IGES file: a quarter turn about X as one undoable Move), Graphics, Sketch, Selection.
Changes apply at once; Cancel or Esc puts back what was there when the dialog opened, Apply
keeps them, OK closes, Restore Defaults resets the page. The theme, ground shadow and agent
cursor settings are now kept between runs. File and Help › Keyboard Shortcuts open the page;
the unused docked Preferences dialog is gone. Control: ui.prefs {open, button, stand_up, …}.
Scenario s45_preferences; tests for Cancel/Apply/defaults and standing a Y-up file up.

The old ids live only in crates/engine/src/legacy_ids.rs (the legacy migration table): find_command maps them, so old scripts, recipes and control calls keep working, and saved shortcuts, recent and pinned commands are migrated on load (designs store no command ids). Parity maps the observed catalog ids to ours through xtask/data/fusion-ids.tsv. The agent rule now reads: our own dotted id, never another product's. Cargo.toml's repository points at github.com/bherbruck/solvecraft.

The standard parts library by type (with its ISO standard), size and length, the size's table
values and a picture of the part; picking a hole's wall or rim seats it there with a rigid joint
(the live preview shows it seated), without a pick it goes at the origin. Opens on
FusionFastenersCommand (and parts.insert); OK runs FusionFastenersCommand. Its own icon.
Insert's world picks (`at`, `point`, `direction`) go through the component frames like other
picks. Tests for the library parsing and the insert parameters; checked in the app: an M3 socket
head cap screw seated in a drilled hole with its joint.

Wired to solvecraft-params' contact, motion, explode and configuration commands (verified under Xvfb: a study keyed 0 to 60 deg plays, an explosion previews and OK keeps it, Activate switches configurations, Check collisions lists overlaps):
- Contact Set: components to a new set; the sets with suppress and delete; contact on/off;
Check collisions (contact.check).
- Motion Study: tracks of keyed joint values on a strip under the steps, keys added and edited
at the playhead, a step slider with Play; the pose at the step is shown (motion.play on a
scratch copy, as pending moves) and put back when the dialog closes.
- Exploded View: a scale slider showing the explosion live; OK creates and shows the view.
- Configurations: the table (rows by columns of parameters and suppressed features), cells
edited in place, Activate per row, rows and columns added and removed.
The ASSEMBLE panel lists the motion and contact commands once they exist. Tests for the pose,
table and study mappings.
Scenario s13: Drive Joints takes typed input without a click.
