A curved chamfer chain with straight planar ends can end across two earlier planar bevel faces, shortening their shared seam to where the new chamfer plane crosses it; picks on one tangent chain are applied once. Fixes#1303.
A fillet or chamfer on a cylindrical boss's bottom arc now builds with a closed display mesh: the seam-extension containment ray counts a shared curved-boundary endpoint once. Merging the split faces of a three-edge arc corner rebuilds the face on the original input face's full surface instead of a piece's restricted patch, and runs under the kernel's panic guard. Fixes#1262 and #1263.

A chamfer of a hole corner, where the mitre extension runs into the wall, now takes the local blend and comes out as one bevel instead of a notched cut; where that blend can't build the edge, the cutters that used to succeed are kept (#814).
* Fillets and chamfers meeting at corners on curved faces, on top of #935
What #935 and #926 leave of #851 and the matrix:
- Corner build for blends meeting on faces of any surface (curvecorner.rs):
the knife-edge tip's round with the arc's or the back edge's, edges
picked in any order, a round ending in an earlier round of its radius
(as a feature of its own), and chamfers meeting at the arc's corner.
Its end curves are fitted by chord length: a uniform parameter
through points clustered at the ends doubled back on itself there,
and the display planner refused the face.
- A straight edge ending at a curved face (the back edge into the
knife-edge tip): rolled, or cut by the face in the planar corner
build (blend_corner.rs).
- A rolling ball turning about a rounded corner of its own radius
(a pivot: a piece of sphere or cone).
- Seams that are an earlier blend's straight contact (fitted curves)
count as straight.
- No spline across a joint where the strip's curvature jumps (a line
into a small round): each strip ends on the joint's section.
- Sections at a chain's vertices on the faces of the edge from it
alone.
- Every new fillet path passes #949's check for openings.
Tests measure volumes through the display plan, as #935's do.
Action matrix: 51 more fillets and chamfers pass (sweep, tangent arc
chain, sheet-metal hem, bracket holes), none fewer. Robustness seed 33
recorded (its last fillet builds differently; display and measured
volumes now agree).

* Corner blend tests: scale, seed 33's volumes, tighter engine bounds
From the review of #854:
- seed_33_display_plan_and_measure_agree: seed 33's bodies measure
the same through the display plan and the measure (2e-5), which the
golden's re-record rests on.
- the_arc_rounded_after_the_back_edge_matches_both_together: the order
that still leaves 0.05 mm³ at the tip, as an ignored test.
- corner_blends_hold_at_any_scale: the cases this branch adds on the
#851 part, at 0.01x and 100x, take off what they take at full size
times k³ (within 5e-6, checked to 1e-4).
- The engine tests on the part as drawn measure through the display
plan; bounds are about twice what each reads (2e-4 to 3e-3), and the
front corner's sets are checked against the kernel's CSG grid.

Fillet gets a Curvature (G2) radius type (type: "curvature", alias "g2"): a quintic blend whose size is the equivalent circular setback, for convex and concave straight edges between planar faces with a perpendicular planar end face at each end. Unsupported cases are refused rather than falling back to a circular fillet, and a blend that would cross a loop in its end face is refused. Persisted as a fillet style under format 19; labels in en/de/ja/ko/zh.

* Fillet: refuse a result with openings in its surface (#871)
A fillet on #871's part (radius 1 on a window's edges and on the sides of a
block 1.26 mm away) came back closed as topology with every face meshing, but
the rounds overlapped and the end faces' boundary loops crossed, so the model
showed holes. The constant-radius fillet now checks its result before taking it:
the body's mesh, welded within a millionth of its size, must have no edge
without as many triangles running the other way along it, except for cracks
within the mesh tolerance where fitted curves meet. A result that fails is
refused, so the corner build gets its try and the radius search treats it as
too large.
Body::open_mesh_edges is the check. Kernel tests cover the #871 part (refused
at radius 1, closed with a round on every edge at 0.5), and an engine test runs
the fillet from the report and leaves the part as it was. All 96 robustness
seeds build the same with and without it.
Fixes#871

* Check fillets for crossed face boundaries, not free mesh edges
Free edges in the mesh also come from cracks where fitted curves meet (corner
patches, rounds ending on curved edges), so the mesh test refused good fillets.
The check is now on the cause of #871: a planar face whose boundary loops cross
each other or themselves has no inside. Body::crossed_face_loops samples each
planar face's loops within 1/1000 of the size and counts proper crossings
(touching within a millionth doesn't count).
The pyramid apex blend and the loft fillets build again. Ten action-matrix fillets
stay refused, recorded in the baseline: r = 3 on the 2 mm rim of oracle 09's
shelled box (the round runs past the inner wall; the result was 240 mm3 lighter
than any round can make it), and the six seam-edge fillets on oracle 60's bolt
holes, whose boundary jumps across the hole.

Fillets and chamfers ending on a boss's pieced wall or beside it, on a face that runs along its seam twice, and loops the loop blend refuses
- A straight edge whose end meets one curved surface in several faces (a cylinder a join left
in pieces) ends on that surface: the section is cut where it crosses each seam, which is
shortened there; where no seam is crossed (the wall missing inside the other body) the
section lies on the bared surface and the rest of the side edge becomes a seam.
- Two end faces that aren't both planes meeting in lines: each face takes the section's points
on it, cut where it crosses the edge between them. Not where an end face runs on smoothly
from a side (an earlier round): the corner build takes those.
- Face boundaries close over several connector edges.
- A face on a periodic surface running along its seam twice (as a STEP file gives it) is
rebuilt the same way (#691).
- A curved chain ending square on a face that runs on past its side extends that face's seam.
- A smooth chain stops before an edge between faces that meet smoothly.
- A loop the loop blend refuses for its shape is blended edge by edge; refusals about its size
stand.
- Action matrix: ACTION_MATRIX_ACTIONS and ACTION_MATRIX_VALIDITY for quick local runs; the
fillets and chamfers that pass now recorded.

Rolling-ball blends now handle knife edges, where the two faces have opposite normals; an edge that runs out along an end face tangent to one side; and rounds that end in an earlier round on curved faces, picked together or one after another. The three edges at a vertex of smooth faces, rounded to one radius, end in a piece of sphere. When the given order of up to four edges is refused, or leaves a face boundary off its surface, other orders are tried.
Closes#851.

* Fillet and chamfer: refuse a smooth seam as having no corner to round
Picking the seams where R10 rounds run into the faces beside them, and asking for an R1
fillet there, failed with "not supported yet: blending a smooth edge (... both faces next
to the edge must be planar)". That reads like a missing feature, but the faces meet
tangentially at those edges and there is nothing to round.
An edge whose two faces are tangent along it is now refused as an invalid pick that names
the edge and asks for the sharp edges.

A blend no longer re-rolls an edge it already refused unless a later blend came near it, so long curved chains stop paying for the same refusal over and over.
A single edge's blend no longer needs a plane square to the edge at each end. Straight edges: each rail ends where it reaches the end face's surface, the side edges there are shortened or continued along their line or circle, and the blend ends where its cylinder or chamfer plane meets that surface (a fitted curve checked against both). A chamfer may end across two faces. Curved edges: at a slanted or curved end the rolling ball runs on past the end and the strip is cut back where it meets that face. A straight edge running smoothly into a bend or rounded corner is blended along its whole smooth chain. Rolling-ball fixes: smooth chains follow edges stored against their curve, the ball touches only the faces of the edges it rolls along, the seam normal at a joint comes from the face there, and each strip is fitted with neighbouring sections at its own spacing.
Action matrix: edge.fillet 83.6% -> 93.0%, edge.chamfer 82.6% -> 93.3% (697 new passes, no regressions); reference tests 76/76.

Fillet fit: reduce lowers the radius only where it doesn't fit: picked edges are grouped where they can limit each other (sharing a face or vertex), and each group gets the requested radius where it fits, otherwise the largest that does. Refs #293.

`fit: reduce` acts only on refusals marked too large. Three kinds weren't:
the corner build's contact lines leaving their faces or running backwards,
and a curved chain's contact reaching past the end of the seam it trims. Two
more were hidden: a later edge's too-large refusal lost to an earlier edge's
other error, and the corner build's lost to the local blend's in `fillet`.
The messages are unchanged.

* feat(kernel): typed TooLarge refusal and fillet_max search
Blend refusals caused only by the size (larger than the neighbouring faces,
taller than the walls, longer than the next edge, larger than a corner
radius) now return KernelError::TooLarge, displayed as before. fillet_max
finds the largest radius below a request at which the fillet of the edges
works, to three significant digits, by building candidates; it is an explicit
call (up to 16 fillets), not run on every refusal.
A corner edge that doesn't run square to the edge is now reported as such
instead of as a blend larger than the neighbouring faces.

* feat: fillet fit option reduces a radius too large for its edges
solid.fillet takes fit: exact (the default, as before: a radius too large
for the geometry around the edges is refused) or reduce: the radius is
reduced to the largest that works for all the picked edges (kernel
fillet_max, three significant digits, every candidate built). The feature
stores the requested radius, so it refits on every evaluation; when it
reduces, the feature's warning says so and the command returns
radius_applied. Pattern copies of the fillet use the same rule. The file
format writes fit only when it is reduce.
The Fillet dialog gets a Radius Fit row (Exact / Reduce to Fit, constant
radius) and, when the preview reduced the radius, an Applied Radius line;
editing the feature keeps the choice.
One radius for all edges for now; per-edge radii and taper follow.

A straight-edge fillet required each end of the edge to meet exactly one more
face, square to the edge. Now an end may meet one planar face at any angle
(the round ends in it along an exact ellipse, the cross-section slid along
the edge onto the plane) or two planar faces meeting at the end vertex: the
round ends across both and cuts back the edge between them where its
cylinder crosses it (Vida, Martin and Varady 1994: trimlines joined across
existing faces). The cylinder is swept to cover both trimmed ends. Square
ends are built as before.
This rounds the mitres where two chamfers meet at a plate's corner, and a
concave edge where a post stands on a plate (the round's end caps extend
the post's end faces); both were refused.

* fix(kernel): name the zero-thickness rim when a shell can't open beside a round
Shelling a body through a face that a convex round meets tangentially, with
the round at least as large as the thickness, puts the cavity wall through
the rim where the round meets the open face. Both shell strategies then fail
and the first one's generic error ("a corner whose faces don't meet the same
way after the move") was reported. The shell now says why and what to change.
Successful shells are unchanged.

* fix(kernel): loop fillet as tall as its wall uses the wall up
Rounding a loop with a radius equal to the height of its walls was refused
("the blend is taller than the walls"): r = 2 on the top edge of a 2 mm
disc failed while 1.999 worked. When every wall seam ends exactly where the
wall-side rail would, the walls are consumed: their far edges become the
blend's rails and the walls and seams are removed. Walls used up only in
part, and radii past the limit, are still refused.

Fillets (local, loop, rolling ball, corner, variable, chord), chamfers
(cutters, local corners, loops, two sides), shell, draft, offset faces,
split face/body, delete face, patch/copy/stitch/trim/extend and
transforms record their history over [body] while they build: faces
rebuilt from the body's, blends in place of edges (corner patches in
place of the edges at the corner), shell walls as offsets, edges as
pieces of the body's or where two faces meet. Multi-step operations
compose each step. The push-face offset fallback now has history, and
the bore union composes its narrowed tool.
A reflection reorders a body's edges, so transforms now match edges by
identity (mirrored copies reported the wrong edges).

Split Face records the new edges as polylines on the body (Body::split_lines); the document carries them through later features. STEP export no longer joins pieces of one surface across such a line, and healing (fillets, chamfers, booleans, shell, draft) no longer merges coplanar pieces there, while incidental pieces (boolean leftovers, seam halves) still merge as before. Tests: plane and cylinder splits keep their face count through a STEP round trip (and join without the record), a second split keeps both lines, and an engine test exports a split box after a fillet with 8 faces.

blend_corner.rs rebuilds the planar faces at the ends of the filleted edges (three planar faces and three straight edges at each such vertex) and keeps the rest. One round at a vertex ends in the third face's exact section of its cylinder; two rounds with the third edge sharp trim each other (rolling ball: the crease from where their contact lines cross to the third edge for equal radii, else to the smaller round's contact line on the face that ends the larger one, which gets the exact section between); three rounds meet a sphere for equal radii, else a rational degree-4 patch through plane sections of the cylinders, the sections turned so that the cylinders' curvatures agree where two meet on a face and the patch fitted tangent to all three (within 0.01 degrees) and to the face at its closed corner.
kernel::fillet falls back to it when the local blends refuse: an edge that ends on an earlier round (any radius) takes the round off (delete_faces) and blends both edges together, so r3 next to r2 and a third edge into a mitred pair work. delete_faces: a gap stretch along several deleted faces keeps the corners between them (two rounds meeting in a mitre come off back to the sharp corner). splitface::fit is shared for the crease.
Tests: volumes against the strips-minus-overlap reference (exact strips, overlap integrated; checked against an independent 1D integral), the sphere-octant formula for three equal rounds, tangency along the patch, closed meshes, refusals without panics.

New kernel file blend_variable.rs. The hooks into blend.rs are visibility
only: plane_normal, vtx, rebuild_face and unsupported are now pub(crate).
- fillet_variable(body, edge, start, r0, r1) works on the same edge
configuration as the constant fillet (straight edge, planar faces, end
faces square to it). The radius runs linearly from the end nearest
`start`, and every section square to the edge is a circular arc. The
blend is an exact degree (2, 1) rational B-spline: arc control points
move linearly.
- fillet_chord(body, edges, chord): the radius per edge comes from its
face angle (chord = 2 r cos(phi/2)).
Fillet feature: style constant | chord | variable {radius2, start};
FusionFilletEdgesCommand takes type, radius2 and start.
Tests:
- Variable 2 -> 5 on a box edge removes (1 - pi/4) L (r0^2 + r0 r1 + r1^2)/3.
Starting from the other end gives the same solid; equal radii give the
constant fillet; too large is refused.
- Chord 4 on a right angle equals radius 4/sqrt(2).
- Engine: both types by command.
