bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 4812ec6c0b Toolbar customisation: a command's menu (right-click a toolbar button, a panel drop-down row or an S box row) pins it to the toolbar, removes it or pins it to the S box's favourites; drag buttons to reorder within and between panels (drop line); Reset Toolbar; per workspace and tab, kept with the preferences, exported and imported with the keyboard shortcuts. Workspace switcher spans the toolbar's height and opens the workspace menu (Design; the others coming later)

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 be18bd6573 Variable-radius fillets through middle points: radii at positions along the edge, straight or smooth between
kernel::fillet_variable_points(body, edge, start, [(position, radius)...], smooth): the radius law is a B-spline of the edge parameter (straight pieces, or C1 cubic pieces with Catmull-Rom slopes), and since every section's arc is affine in its radius the blend is exactly a rational B-spline (degree 2 across, the law's degree along) with B-spline contact curves on the faces. The largest radius along the edge decides whether the blend fits. Fillet type variable takes mid: [[position, radius expr], ...] and smooth; middle radii are parameters of the feature (Mid radius) and follow user parameters. Tests: straight pieces against (1 - pi/4) L (a^2 + ab + b^2) / 3 per piece, smooth against the integrated law, either end as start, refusals; engine test with a parameter-driven middle radius.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 7318b98b8d Preferences: one Fusion-style dialog from the gear at the top right and Ctrl+, (Cmd+,)
Pages: General (theme Dark/Light/System, UI scale, units of new designs, autosave, display
precision, the agent cursor), Navigation (Fusion, SolidWorks, Inventor, Alias and Tinkercad
mouse presets, reverse zoom, zoom to the cursor, orbit centre, view-change animation on/off and

Design (default modelling orientation Y up / Z up for #3, and the offer to stand up a Y-up STEP
or IGES file: a quarter turn about X as one undoable Move), Graphics, Sketch, Selection.
Changes apply at once; Cancel or Esc puts back what was there when the dialog opened, Apply
keeps them, OK closes, Restore Defaults resets the page. The theme, ground shadow and agent
cursor settings are now kept between runs. File and Help › Keyboard Shortcuts open the page;
the unused docked Preferences dialog is gone. Control: ui.prefs {open, button, stand_up, …}.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 a5729f1f97 Constraint glyphs: one per constrained entity, beside it, readable
Fixes #43

- Two-entity constraints (parallel, tangent, equal, ...) get a glyph on each entity.
- Glyphs sit beside their entity (offset along its screen normal), step along it when crowded,
with a faint leader when pushed away; 15 px boxes with the toolbar's constraint icons
(H/V stay letters), coloured from the theme's glyph tokens in both themes.
- Hovering a glyph lights both of its glyphs and its curves/points and names the constraint.
- Removes the old duplicate glyph drawer in viewport.rs (it drew a second, green set).
- Scenario expect key `glyphs` ({constraint id: count}, none overlapping) and the scenario
  constraint_glyphs_both_entities.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 bf2b64f597 Releases offer plain programs; the licences are built in
Release assets are now the programs themselves: SolveCraft and solvecraft-cli .exe for Windows,
plain Linux binaries plus the AppImage, a macOS .dmg (SolveCraft.app with an Applications link) and
the universal CLI binary; only the web app stays a zip. The notes template takes {tag}, says to
chmod +x on Linux and macOS, and GitHub adds the change list.

Since no LICENSE or NOTICE file rides along any more, the programs carry them:
THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt (written by `cargo xtask licences` from cargo metadata and each shipped
crate's own licence files, 419 crates; `cargo xtask ci` checks it is current) is embedded with
LICENSE-MIT, LICENSE-APACHE and NOTICE in solvecraft_engine::licences, shown in Help ▸ About ▸

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 bd8e8c4809 Web: the viewport shader compiles in browsers (a new design no longer shows a black screen)
Fixes #34

The surface-analysis curvature map took screen-space derivatives (dpdx/dpdy) inside a branch
of fs_solid. naga accepts that, but browsers' WGSL compiler (Tint, WebGPU) requires derivatives
in uniform control flow and rejects the whole `sc_viewport` shader module, so every viewport
pipeline was invalid and the viewport stayed black as soon as a design was shown. The
curvature is now worked out first thing in fs_solid and passed in, and the canvas image
shader samples its texture before discarding.

Regression test: every fragment entry point makes derivative and implicit-LOD sampling calls
(directly or through helpers) before any branch or return. Checked in headless Chromium with
WebGPU (SwiftShader): before, "dpdx must only be called from uniform control flow" and invalid
pipelines on New Design; after, no shader or pipeline errors.

The old ids live only in crates/engine/src/legacy_ids.rs (the legacy migration table): find_command maps them, so old scripts, recipes and control calls keep working, and saved shortcuts, recent and pinned commands are migrated on load (designs store no command ids). Parity maps the observed catalog ids to ours through xtask/data/fusion-ids.tsv. The agent rule now reads: our own dotted id, never another product's. Cargo.toml's repository points at github.com/bherbruck/solvecraft.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 c9ed3d154d Web files: designs live in the browser (OPFS), files come in by picker or drop and go out as downloads
- solvecraft_io::vfs: the engine's file access (disk natively; in the browser an in-memory set of
files the host loads and stores). File commands and write_atomic go through it.
- Web host (apps/solvecraft-web/src/files.rs): stored designs are read from OPFS at start
(storage.persist() asked for) and written back when a command writes one; Save/Save As keep
designs in the browser, exports (STEP, STL, 3MF, OBJ, ...) download as files.
- File > Open shows "Files in this browser": open, insert, rename, download, delete, plus open or
insert from the computer (showOpenFilePicker where there is one, an <input type=file>
otherwise). Files dropped on the page are inserted or opened.
- Unsaved work is autosaved to OPFS and offered again after a reload or crash.
- Start page recents come from the stored designs, with thumbnails. In the browser the samples
are built when opened (a picture blocks the page there, and a kernel panic can't be caught).
- Pages without OPFS (http on a network address, old browsers) keep designs in local storage.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 0a6f6c4422 Insert Part dialog (SOLID > INSERT > Insert Fastener)
The standard parts library by type (with its ISO standard), size and length, the size's table
values and a picture of the part; picking a hole's wall or rim seats it there with a rigid joint
(the live preview shows it seated), without a pick it goes at the origin. Opens on
FusionFastenersCommand (and parts.insert); OK runs FusionFastenersCommand. Its own icon.
Insert's world picks (`at`, `point`, `direction`) go through the component frames like other
picks. Tests for the library parsing and the insert parameters; checked in the app: an M3 socket
head cap screw seated in a drilled hole with its joint.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 acc7b83625 UI scenarios are found, not listed: build.rs makes one test per tests/scenarios/*.json, named after the file, and a scenario waiting for a fix says so in its own file with a {"pending": "why"} step (its test is ignored with that reason). No shared list to edit, no numbering required

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 305c1c9a9b Dragging sketch geometry snaps like Fusion: a dragged point (or a line dragged by its body, by its ends) snaps onto other points, line midpoints and curves, and letting go there adds the coincident, midpoint or point-on-curve constraint in the drag's undo step; it lines up horizontally and vertically with other points (dashed guides, no constraint). Snap distances in screen pixels; Ctrl or Alt held turns snapping off, also while drawing. Ring and Pt/Mid/On label on the snap. Scenario s42 (coincident and DOF, exact H alignment without a constraint, Ctrl-drag, undo, line body drag); ui.drag hold_end; synthetic drags keep their modifiers
