Face colours and opacity in STEP and 3MF export (and STEP import)
...
- Bodies carry a Paint for export (opacity, per-face colours), set by
Document::painted from the appearance model. The paint comes from a
face appearance, a body/component appearance's opacity or a material
look (Glass), and falls back to the paint the body was imported with.
- STEP: faces with colours of their own get a STYLED_ITEM on their
ADVANCED_FACE. See-through looks add SURFACE_STYLE_TRANSPARENT.
Differently coloured pieces are not merged into one face.
- STEP import reads face styles and transparency. The reader tracks the
file face of each kernel face (bands split in two keep it), so imported
face colours land on the right faces; the design shows them through
face_colors.
- 3MF: per-triangle colours (pid/p1 into the base materials, carried
through welding) and the object's alpha (#RRGGBBAA).
- Tests: a blue half-transparent cube with a red top exports, re-imports
with its opacity and the red top face, and keeps it when opened and
exported again. 3MF writes the alpha and the face entry.

STEP export: pieces of a plane or extruded cylinder written as one face
...
Fusion round trip WARNs on face counts:
- 48: the pulley's annular end faces arrived as 240° and 120° sectors.
- 54: the side faces and holes of a body glued to its mirror image came
in halves.
Changes:
- Planes merge: PLANE faces and flat B-spline sheets, as well as revolved
planes. A plane keeps several loops (an annulus, a face with holes), no
seam. Flat B-spline sheets are written as PLANE.
- Pieces of an extruded cylinder (B-spline sheets) merge when their edges
are circles square to the axis. The merged face is written as a
CYLINDRICAL_SURFACE, with its parameter seam on the face's seam edge.
- A full turn's loop is built explicitly: ring, seam, other ring (or the
apex on the axis), seam back. Before, it depended on edge order, and
after 81c85b5 the pulley's last pieces no longer merged.
- The read-back check moved to the whole file. If the merged file reads
with warnings and the unmerged one does not, the unmerged one is
written.
Results: 48 has 12 faces (Fusion 12), 54 has 12 (Fusion 12). Oracle
results are unchanged (73 PASS) and the STEP corpus passes 76/76. New
test: a plate with a hole glued to its mirror exports 8 faces, all
planes and cylinders, and round-trips.

Library swatches by category (the engine's library when it offers one, else built-in looks:

body or face in the viewport, or onto a body's row in the Browser, applies at once; Apply and
OK give the picked objects the current look; pre-selected bodies become the objects.
Browser: rows under a drag of another kind count as hovered, and the Browser's own drops no
longer swallow other payloads (egui's take_payload takes any type), so swatches dropped on its
rows land.

Sketch Palette, docked at the right while sketching: line type of the selected curves (normal, construction, centerline), Look At, and options kept with each sketch (sketch.options: Sketch Grid, Snap, Slice, Show Profile, Show Points, Show Dimensions, Show Constraints, Show Projected Geometries, 3D Sketch), the degrees of freedom, Finish Sketch. Slice cuts the model at the sketch plane; Snap off places points at the cursor

Sketches on body faces follow their face: the plane is a face reference found again on each evaluation (same normal, nearest the picked point), and face extrudes (Extrude on a face, Press Pull) use the linked projection of the face's edges instead of a frozen copy, so they follow when earlier features change

Dialogs for joints, sheet metal and plastic
...
ASSEMBLE panel (SOLID, SHEET METAL, PLASTIC): New Component, Joint, As-built Joint, Joint Origin,
Rigid Group, Drive Joints, Motion Link, Interference. Joint origins are picked by hovering:
faces snap to their centre (round faces to the centre of the nearer end), edges to their middle
(round edges to their centre), vertices to themselves, shown as glyphs with their z axis. The
Joint dialog has the motion type, angle, offsets X/Y/Z, flip, per-value limits and Animate (the
preview plays the motion); joints and drives preview on the placed model (world states).
Drive Joints moves live with a slider. Interference lists the overlaps and shows them red.
Joints appear in the timeline and in a Browser Joints folder (edit, drive, suppress, delete).
SHEET METAL tab in Fusion's layout: Flange (base, edge or contour, from the picks; height arrow
on the canvas), Hem, Unfold, Refold, Convert to Sheet Metal, Sheet Metal Rules (rule manager),
Create Flat Pattern (flat view with up/down bend lines, bend table, DXF export).
PLASTIC tab with SETUP: Boss, Lip/Groove, Snap Fit, Rest, Manage and Assign Plastic Rules; Rib,
Web and the shared solid commands on the tab.
Every feature dialog has live preview, Edit Feature and pre-selection; icons drawn in code.
Toolbar layout per tab in workspace.rs; tests for the dialog to command mapping.

Delete for everything: selection.delete removes sketch entities, features and sketches (with their dependents), construction planes, bodies (Remove feature), occurrences and components, and canvases in one undo step, with a dry run; Delete/Backspace and every menu's Delete go through it and ask first, listing what goes with it and what would fail; faces say Delete Face is not available yet; ui.confirm control method

Two-entity constraints move only the second pick (tangent, parallel, perpendicular, equal, concentric, coincident, collinear, symmetric, midpoint): the constraint is applied with the first entity held (solve_holding), the second keeping its size where it can (lines turn and slide, circles translate), then resizing; if the second is fixed, projected or fully constrained the first moves instead, and if neither can the constraint is refused and nothing changes; later solves hold nothing. Context-menu constraints keep the selection order; a curve picked before a point puts the point on the curve

Plastic: Rest (round or rectangular pad, solid or hollow wall, draft) and Plastic Rules (the six-rule library, design rules from expressions using Thickness, active rule, rules assigned to bodies; a body's rule gives Boss and Rest their draft and grooves their clearance), plastic.rules; docs/oracle.md lists the plastic features as no oracle (licence) with the analytic tests that cover them

Insert DXF: block references expanded (INSERT with scale, rotation, column/row arrays, nested blocks with a depth cap; non-uniform scale turns circles into ellipses), paper-space entities skipped; DXF/SVG insert joins ends within a tolerance (default 0.0001 mm, tolerance param) so nearly-closed drawings make profiles

Fix/Unfix on every sketch entity: points (Fix constraint) and lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, splines and conics (fixed curves hold their points and radius); ConstraintFix takes entities (fixes them all unless all are fixed); the toolbar button and the context menu act on the whole selection; fixed points never move when dragged or solved; projected geometry counts as fixed; fixed geometry is drawn green; sketch.inspect reports fixed
