bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 bee763959c Patterns of features: Object Type (Bodies / Features) in the rectangular, circular and path pattern dialogs; features are picked in the timeline (or pre-selected there), so a hole can be patterned with a live preview; Edit Feature shows a pattern of holes as features

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 66fa6fe584 Dialogs for joints, sheet metal and plastic
ASSEMBLE panel (SOLID, SHEET METAL, PLASTIC): New Component, Joint, As-built Joint, Joint Origin,
Rigid Group, Drive Joints, Motion Link, Interference. Joint origins are picked by hovering:
faces snap to their centre (round faces to the centre of the nearer end), edges to their middle
(round edges to their centre), vertices to themselves, shown as glyphs with their z axis. The
Joint dialog has the motion type, angle, offsets X/Y/Z, flip, per-value limits and Animate (the
preview plays the motion); joints and drives preview on the placed model (world states).
Drive Joints moves live with a slider. Interference lists the overlaps and shows them red.
Joints appear in the timeline and in a Browser Joints folder (edit, drive, suppress, delete).

SHEET METAL tab in Fusion's layout: Flange (base, edge or contour, from the picks; height arrow
on the canvas), Hem, Unfold, Refold, Convert to Sheet Metal, Sheet Metal Rules (rule manager),
Create Flat Pattern (flat view with up/down bend lines, bend table, DXF export).

PLASTIC tab with SETUP: Boss, Lip/Groove, Snap Fit, Rest, Manage and Assign Plastic Rules; Rib,
Web and the shared solid commands on the tab.

Every feature dialog has live preview, Edit Feature and pre-selection; icons drawn in code.
Toolbar layout per tab in workspace.rs; tests for the dialog to command mapping.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 956492c993 Dark theme (default): Fusion-like blue-grey viewport #2e3440, darker chrome, subtle grid, light text, blue accent; light theme kept as a second Tokens set; toggle on the application bar (sun/moon), ui.set {dark}, kept between runs (eframe storage; browser local storage on the web); viewport, sketch, glyph, view cube, timeline and overlay colours all come from the theme; preview spinner and state in ui.inspect

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 71a1903122 Fix: sketch edit exit (double-click a sketch no longer traps you)
Edit Sketch rolls the timeline back to just after the sketch and faces it;
Finish Sketch, Esc (once nothing else is left to cancel) and editing another
feature all leave it, restoring the marker and the previous view. Editing the
open sketch again is a no-op and editing another sketch switches cleanly.
The control channel's ui.click takes double: true.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 ea3dd0ed6e 3MF: export, and 3MF/STL import as mesh bodies
Export: ExportCommand/CLI --out/MCP export with .3mf write a 3MF Core package
([Content_Types].xml, _rels/.rels, 3D/3dmodel.model; millimetres), one
mesh object and build item per body, named after it, vertices shared and
welded watertight (T-junctions between faces split), base-material colours
when bodies carry one (STEP colours now ride on bodies). Tessellation as
for STL. File > Export 3MF.

Import: doc.open/drag-drop/CLI/MCP open accept .3mf and .stl; Insert Mesh
(ParaMeshInsertAlignCommand) adds them to a design as a MeshImport feature.
Kernel mesh bodies render, measure exactly, move and export; solid
features refuse them with a clear error. 3MF reading flattens components
and build transforms, converts units, reads colours; sizes, entries,
nesting and element counts are capped.

bherbruckandClaude Opus 5.5 f3dbb12b23 STEP: open/insert/drag-drop
Import base feature (FeatureKind::Import, timeline type BaseFeature) holding
the STEP text and the file's product tree; bodies named from the file.
doc.open accepts .step/.stp (any case) as a new design; Insert STEP
(FusionImportCommandFromToolbar) adds one to the current design; File menu,
SOLID > INSERT, drag-and-drop (insert into a non-empty design, else open),
'solvecraft part.step', MCP open. Features (fillet, hole, sketch-on-face
cut, shell) work on imported bodies. Imports are cached so a file is read
once per command. Measure tightens its chord tolerance for small radii.
