The codec and kernel repositories and crates are renamed opencadcodec and
opencadkernel. Inside OCS they are depended on under short keys, so code
reads `codec::`, `kernel::` and the new `graph::` (opencadgraph, the node
graph engine). File-format and protocol spellings stay as they were: the
ACIS product id `acadrust`, the ACADRUST_* switches and the plugin
version keys `acadrust_version` / `acadrust_source`.
A button left of MCP on the command line opens a translucent node graph
over the viewport, with a palette of object, input, math, logic, list,
text and geometry nodes added by click or drag. An object node owns
drawing entities and its rows are the Properties panel's own rows for
them: the single-object page is extracted from refresh_properties as
entity_property_sections, values use the control protocol's
property_json, and writes go through set_property_value with a property
target override, so the panel, MCP and the graph share one read/write
path. A list reaching an object row makes one entity per element. Each
graph action is one undo step; the canvas pans and zooms.

A hatch's area was not the area of anything. Its boundary was flattened
into a ring by pushing an arc's *centre* into it, and a spline's control
points — neither of which is on the boundary — and the shoelace formula
was run over the result. Boundary edges now go through the kernel, which
measures each for what it encloses: an arc contributes its sector, a
spline is integrated.
AREA had three measurements between them. The bulged-polyline one
carried its own arc corrections; the planar entities it did not cover
fell through to mass properties. Both are now one call on the entity's
curve, which gets the bulges, the ellipse and the spline right in the
same place. What is left is the genuinely spatial — a 3D polyline, a
spline whose points wander off any plane — measured as rings of points
by Newell's method rather than by projecting them flat.
Regions were doing the same Newell sum by hand. They share it now.

The embedded solid display-cache wires are body-local (unplaced), and
R2013+ AcDs-backed solids used to misparse them into garbage points near
the origin — a clipped region rendered a stray fragment at (0,0,0). When
the ACIS payload parses, the mesh pipeline (fill + feature edges +
isolines, all body-placed) is the authoritative render, so the wires now
only serve as a last resort for unreadable ACIS data.
acadrust bump brings the decoded wireframe section and real reference
points: solids/regions report the file's stored bounding-box centre (or
a geometry-derived one) instead of (0,0,0), which feeds OCS grips,
Position properties and insertion snaps.

A cylinder's wireframe showed only its two rim circles, so from the side it
read as two disconnected ellipses rather than a cylinder. AutoCAD draws
ISOLINES — a fixed set of longitudinal lines on each curved face — so the
surface reads from any angle.
`collect_isolines` walks the cone-surface faces (cylinder and cone), recovers
each face's height and angular extent with the same logic `tess_cone_face`
uses, and emits `header.isolines` (default 4) longitudinal segments from the
bottom rim to the top rim. They are appended to the feature-edge line list, so
they ride the existing body transform, double-single split, and top-level /
per-INSTANCE re-split for free.
Being part of `edge_verts`, they inherit the edge pass's gating: drawn in the
wireframe modes and in shaded-with-edges, hidden in plain shaded — matching
where AutoCAD shows isolines. `isolines` is threaded from the header through
the tessellation entry points alongside `facet_res`.

Bump acadrust to ef0e231 (region/body history handle + viewport clip
boundary now stored) and populate the rows the builders left blank:
- Solid3D / Body "Show History": derived from the history handle's
presence (there is no separate stored bool — the DWG carries only the
H 350 history link).
- Body "History": the history handle, matching how Solid3D already shows
it.
- Viewport "Clipped": Yes when the clip-boundary handle is non-NULL.
Hatch Origin X/Y and Boundary retention stay blank by design: they are
not part of the persisted AcDbHatch record in DWG or DXF (retention is a
BHATCH command setting), so there is nothing to read.

Bump acadrust to a46cb8b (spline knot parameterization + mtext line-space
style now stored) and populate rows the builders left blank:
Entity-local: spline Knot Parameterization + closed-spline Area (shoelace),
mtext Line space style, hatch Spacing (pattern-line offset), leader Text
offset (annotation offset), region Area + Perimeter (wire-loop approx).
Doc-dependent (resolved in app/properties.rs where the document is
reachable): insert Block Unit + Unit factor (block record units vs
INSUNITS), underlay Name + Path (definition object), leader Text style /
vertical placement / overall scale and tolerance Text style (dimension
style), multileader Max points + segment angles (mleader style).
Rows needing an annotation-scale / sheet-set subsystem or an internal
PDF/DWF layer parser are intentionally left blank.

Rewrite each entity's property builder to the per-entity group/row spec:
the correct sections (Geometry, Misc, Text, Pattern, Lines & Arrows, Leaders,
Block, …) with the spec's rows and real computed values — Diameter,
Circumference, Area, Delta X/Y/Z, Angle, Total angle, Arc length, Radius ratio,
etc. — plus apply routing for the editable rows.
Covers ~26 entities (Line, Circle, Arc, Point, Ellipse, Spline, polylines,
Ray/XLine, Insert, Text, MText, Hatch, Leader, MultiLeader, Tolerance, Solid,
Solid3D/Region/Body, meshes, MLine, Raster/Wipeout, Underlay, Table, Viewport,
Attribute, OLE). The 3D Visualization/Material group and the full Dimension
spec are deferred (they need document access for material/dimstyle name
resolution). Rows whose data is not in the pinned acadrust revision are shown
as empty placeholders, to be filled when the dependency is bumped.

Groundwork for making the Properties panel conform to the per-entity group/row
spec (PROPERTIES.md). The panel already renders a Vec of sections, but each
entity could only express a single geometry section.
Change PropertyEditable::geometry_properties (and the EntityTypeOps enum
dispatch) to return Vec<PropSection>, update the two impl macros, and flatten
in properties_sectioned so the panel shows [General] + the entity's groups.
Every entity builder is wrapped to return its existing section as a one-element
Vec — pure mechanical change, no rows or titles altered, panel output identical.
Enables Phase 2: rewriting each entity's groups/rows to match the spec.

Whole command/snap/grip/cursor chain now builds on f64 DVec3 end to end,
so picked points, snaps and grip drags stay precise at UTM-scale
coordinates instead of quantizing to ~0.5 m through f32.
- All ~80 command files migrated: draw (line/circle/arc/ellipse/shapes
in full f64; others via point methods), modify, annotate, insert, view,
inquiry, layers, groups, clipboard, layout.
- Entity apply_grip impls updated for GripApply::{Absolute,Translate}(DVec3).
- Construction sites (EntityTransform/CmdResult/DynAnchor) emit DVec3;
wire-preview boundaries cast to f32 only at the GPU edge.
- Modify/annotate commands keep internal Vec3 geometry where precision is
non-critical, casting at the DVec3 boundary; key draw commands store f64.
Builds clean (no warnings). Visual verification of crosshair/snap/grip at
extreme UTM zoom pending.

Solids were missing from the entity transform dispatch, so move / rotate /
scale / mirror were silently no-ops on a 3D solid (only its wires shifted)
and a pasted solid stayed at its original location. Add a Transformable impl
for Solid3D/Region/Body/Surface (delegating to acadrust, which now composes
the move into the ACIS body placement) and register them in the dispatcher.
Also make cross-drawing paste land at the cursor: the clipboard centroid is
measured in the source drawing's offset-relative frame, so correct the paste
translation by the source/target world_offset difference (zero within one
drawing). Bumps acadrust for the solid-geometry transform fixes.

Move the 30 flat modules under src/scene/ into six folders by role:
convert (entity→geometry), text (fonts/shaping), model (render models),
pick (hit-test/selection/grips/xclip), view (camera/transform/render),
cache (block + property caches). pipeline/ is unchanged.
Full path migration — all `scene::X` references become
`scene::<group>::X`, no compatibility re-exports. render.rs items that
were `pub(super)` (parent was scene) become `pub(in crate::scene)` to
keep their original scene-wide visibility.
No behavior change; build and tests are green.

ACAD_SURFACE entities now load and render. Their NURBS faces are
tessellated by building a truck BSplineSurface from the ACIS `spline-surface`
control net and knot vectors, then sampling its parametric grid — reusing the
same NURBS kernel the Model tab already builds on. Analytic faces
(plane/cone/sphere/torus) continue through the existing tessellator.
- New spline_tess.rs: parse the ACIS `nubs` block (degrees, knots with the
clamped end-multiplicity fix, control grid) into a truck BSplineSurface and
mesh it.
- tessellate_surface + Surface wired through the mesh-build, fallback-wire,
and entity-classification paths.
- Bump acadrust to the commit that adds the Surface entity.

Grip markers drew visibly offset from the entity on large-coordinate
(UTM-scale) drawings: every Grippable impl cast the f64 entity coordinates
to f32 BEFORE the world-offset subtraction, and at 1e7 magnitude an f32
holds ~0.9 drawing units of rounding error. The wires subtract the offset
in f64 first (precision-preserving), so the grips landed up to ~1 unit
away from the geometry they belong to.
GripDef.world is now DVec3: producers fill it straight from the f64
entity data, refresh_selected_grips subtracts the world offset in f64,
and only the small offset-local result is cast to f32 for screen-space
projection (grips_to_screen / find_hit_grip) and drag state.

Phase 1 of bringing the grip vocabulary in line with the standard
CAD convention: drop the per-position-type shape encoding (Diamond
for translate, Circle for parameter) and use a plain square for
every endpoint / vertex / centre grip. The behavioural midpoint vs
vertex distinction stays — it lives on `GripDef::is_midpoint` and
drives `Translate` vs `Absolute` in the grip-edit dispatcher — only
the marker shape collapses.
- `GripShape` keeps `Square`, `Rectangle`, `Triangle`. Diamond /
Circle are gone.
- `GripDef` gains `dir: Option<[f32; 2]>` — a world-XY direction
vector consumed by `Rectangle` to orient the box along its
segment.
- `entities::common` exposes `square_grip`, `center_grip` (same
square marker, flagged as translate), `rectangle_grip(id, world,
dir)` for oriented mid-segment handles, and a kept-for-Phase-2
`triangle_grip`.
- `overlay::GripMarker` / `grips_to_screen[_paper]` thread `dir`
through to the canvas painter; the Rectangle path rotates the
box around the grip centre using the world-XY direction (flipping
the sin for screen-Y).
Every existing `diamond_grip(id, w)` call becomes `center_grip(id,
w)` — the visual change is square-replacing-diamond at line
midpoints / arc midpoints / circle centres / ellipse centres /
viewport / hatch loop centroids / dimension grips / image corners /
multileader / ray / underlay / ole2frame / solid3d.
`LwPolyline` grows a stretch handle on every segment (straight or
arc), drawn as the new oriented rectangle. The grip-edit path
translates both segment endpoints for straight segments and
adjusts the arc bulge from the new midpoint for arc segments.
The same three-arm `match entity { Solid3D | Region | Body }` block
appeared at five callsites — twice in tessellate.rs (point_of_reference,
fallback wires) and three times in scene/mod.rs (mesh tess dispatch,
apply_grip pre/post position).
Add three accessors in entities/solid3d.rs:
point_of_reference(e) → Option<&Vector3>
fallback_wires(e) → Option<&[Wire]>
tessellate_volume(e, color, facet_res) → Option<MeshLodSet>
Callsites shrink from 5–8 lines to one call. The apply_grip path
collapses two parallel pre/post matches plus the entity-list `matches!`
guard.
